Full tour of Whitehead Railway Museum with Train Rides

A detailed tour of Whitehead Railway Museum, the headquarters of the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland (RPSI)
Video includes a full walking tour of the main museum portion of the facility.
As well as a walking tour of the museum, 'Guinness' 3BG, the society's first ever steam locomotive, was on hand providing the train rides throughout the day. The coach was RPSI Mk2 number 300, a former Enterprise Mk2 coach operated by NIR.
It was an excellent experience to visit the Whitehead Railway Museum, I'd like to thank the volunteers for making me feel welcome thoughout the day.

Just caught a glimpse of 171 in the workshops. Still looks like a bit of work needs doing on her but it will be nice to see her back in traffic soon 🤞🏻

ROI should get its own railway museum at some point. Things are pretty slick with railway preservation in Ireland in general.

Agreed, but our government don't care much of our railway culture and want to watch it go to ruin, turned into greenways or dig it up and build whatever else on tbh, so yeah
