Everybody bitching about these kids, that kid Dan was brilliant. Really smart kid, probably the brightest kid they've had on the show. He did mumble, so u probably missed a lot of it, and he wasn't arrogant and asertive, but he did work all that stuff out -- they weren't just guesses all the time. Good on ya kid, well done.
Proof, if proof were ever needed, that five contestants with barely enough knowledge to find their own way home can win 'Eggheads' if (lots of) luck is on their side.
The odds were still well against them coming into the final round with 2 Challengers up against 4 Eggheads. They got all of their 3 questions in the final round correct, you can't really complain.
Knocking Chris out was crucial. You can see that he was nodding his head when the answer 38 was revealed (23:52) meaning they would have got it right if he was there.
That's part of the game though. Knocking an egghead out who knows the answer to a question that the rest of the Eggheads don't know in the final round.
If we had a version of Eggheads here in America, I need a list of quiz show champions who would be most suited for the show. I'm sure there are definitely more than five so I'm sure they would rotate from show to show. But again, if anyone would give me the names of as many quiz show champions as possible, I would very appreciate it.
To add on to my last comment about possibly having a version of Eggheads here in America, if we did have one, it would most likely have to be syndicated because of its rolling jackpot. I think it should start at $5,000 and go up by that much each day until it is won. The same would apply for Pointless, Perfection, and Pressure Pad.
the Nicosia answer was amazing, it's literally a matter of a few miles which one is furthest south.
74 must be a common streak in game shows, the Eggheads 74 game streak and Ken Jennings 74 game streak on Jeopardy!
Lovely lads, very well deserved!!
And after 15 full weeks where none of the previous Challengers beat the Eggheads.
we should round up all the egg heads and turn them into one big ....... omlet

The only reason they won is because Chris was eliminated. Otherwise he would have crushed them all with his enormous intellect
+Susan Contratto You're kidding right? Guy's a fucking liability. If he says one thing, choose the other.
sounds like another loser, jealous of his enormous intellect.. and enormous penis
Give thsm some credit to be the first team for 75 shows to beat the Eggheads.
While having never heard of the Iliad. Complete luck.

CJ's face with the Alex Higgins question was classic. What are you talking about? lol
Great video
Just goes to show why you should wear pink on Gameshows. They give you a good win. Donald Fear’s £1M win, Clive’s £20K win, and their £75K win!
Don't mess with Daphne, she may look like a sweet little old lady but underneath that serene exterior she's a killer! :)
Great show, big fan, but the set behind Dermot is too busy, distracting, spotty.
Daphne never said a word during their losing question, just relied on the others.
Bring back Dermot Murnaghan.

@@dvidclapperton Absoulutly. It can also work the other way round which has happened more often than not.
they desperately need a studio audience to applaud

Obviously Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter would qualify.
