Even Narayana Murthy of Infosys , Sunil Bharthi Mittal of Airtel has many times spoken how devastating was LICENCE RAJ to Indian Economy and how everyone paid Bribes to get and renew the license for 1 term.

The License Raj is the foundation of the downfall of the Indian auto industry. We are missing some amazing global cars and brands even now because of it. Our car industry would have prospered so much without that stupid rule.

What we immediately need is implementation of CAA NRC, 2 child policy in states like Bihar, UCC, abolition of waqf board, all temples to be free, no reservation to Muslims
Things we should ask from government:-
? Why "make in India" have become slow? Especially in technological and defence fields . Also in small scale, Not everybody can become labour so if there are plants for earphones, toys,(things which we import from china) then people from Bihar and others can go into that field
? What now about semiconductor plant ?
? How will Modi government plant to restructure our cities? Traffic lights , cycle tracks, footpath are basic necessities.
? Cleanliness? We need movement like "ugly Indian" in every part of India to make it clean.
? Why India has failed to become a tourist hub despite its diversity(not just people but also geographical {plains, Himalayas, beaches, north east, deserts},monumental Heritage and ancient culture(people in China's South province wear dress like Indian clothes, even they are capitalising on Indian culture saying that it's thiers and increasing thier soft power, just search "flying Apsara")
? When a foreigner say India is chaotic, it means lawlessness like traffic, footpath stalls, people spitting.
? When is government passing law to strict movement of cows on roads. Cow owners should provide shelter to cows and if found on roads then it should be seized just like bikes
? Pollution. A good public transport system of buses(Jakarta bus transit)
? Why government not promotes Indian brands. Police cars should be of Indian brands, public phones should be of Indian brands(just like South korea)
? Why don't we have app like "WhatsApp" , only South Asians use it , we South Asians are 2 billion people so we deserve our own app instead of American, if we start using some it then rest of the south aisans will have to .

Congress governments under Nehru and Indira Gandhi ruined India by its restrictive policies and license raj. Thanks to PVN everything changed for India. Today we have access to best technologies and products. I was born in 1975. We had to wait for 10 years for a telephone and 5 years for a scooter. Pace of progress was slow. Congress institutionalised corruption and even today India is not progressing because of this reason.

Being an automotive system engineer. I confirm that India has seen immense transition phase in manufacturing operations, Supply chain, component and product localisation along with availability of state of the art testing and validation , homologation centers . Now we have an ecosystem to design and develop Vehicle system indigenously . But sad part is that still many miles to go in terms of business relation with global Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers and upskilling. India has been a big market but not in terms of Pioneering the tech. Still huge dependency in terms of vehicle development. Only testing and validation is being done in all the major automotive tech centers across India.

If we look at the numbers side by side, the country was divided on the basis of religion. So why was India made a secular country? Congress had a hand in this also.

@@ranjeetttttt97 Let's ask two questions first What was Pakistan as a Muslim country? In their first constitution all that it entailed was that the President shall be a Muslim and no law against Islam would be passed? Every other right was same far every citizen of Pakistan. Now Pakistan had back then a 22% Hindu+ 2% Sikh+1% Christian population giving a 75% Muslim population. Later in 1980 added Muslim law in relation to transactions between Muslims and lastly a Federal Shahria Court that checks if laws are in against Islam
Now let's ask is India not a Hindu country? Other than two all presidents were Hindu. Every Prime Minister and every Chief Minister ever but for 7 outside J&K(none completed half their term) are Hindu. India on Independence was more Hindu than Pakistan was Muslim. India had 84% Hindu+ 10% Muslim+ 4% Sikhs and Christians and 2% others. Do you want the continuation of the caste system and other practices like untouchability and no marriage being allowed even between different subgroups within the same caste? I am not saying I am in the right in moral compass but according to me those ancient practices were only holding us back and even today it has managed to exist informally and those practices had to go.
Many blame(I am not accusing you) the reservation system on the Congress too but they introduced it for scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, who genuinely needed such opportunities as the casteist mindset led them to be locked out of employment opportunities in the private sector. But the massive reservation we see today is the result of Mandal Commission which was enacted by VP Singh government which was supported by BJP and Left Front. And the new Reservation for women recently, you know whom to look at.
Trust me I am not defending Congress rule but just that the socialism was not the job of one person. People like TT Krishnamachari ruined Industry in East India by the Harebrained Freight Equalisation Policy. People like VK Krishna Menon betrayed the armed forces leading to defeat. And people generally do not remember this but the Bombay plan written by people like GD Birla and JRD Tata for future economic development also recommended heavy state involvement in the economy. The Congress did that with more zeal than its original proponents. But at the same time we had great leaders like Shastri.

@@kathibaba7665 I am not denying what you say. But all this looks good only in books. I ask you. All the crimes that happen in the country. Which religion do most of them belong to? There is no need to tell this to anyone. Except a few Muslims, everyone wants the country to disintegrate. These people have spoiled the law and order of the country. When it comes to other's religion, we talk about following the law. And when it comes to their religion, they keep the law aside and talk about cutting necks. You want to create brotherhood with these people. When the country became independent, the situation was very weak. The leaders should have thought about the future of the country and not give a message to the country on the basis of religion. Congress never spoke against partition, rather he himself supported it. If any other country captures even an inch of India's land, then only Congress is responsible for it.

@@ranjeetttttt97 Sorry for the late reply but let's first address the question of Crime. It has been seen across the world that communities with backward socio economic status are more likely to commit crime specifically what criminologists now call blue collar crime. The same is true everywhere like Blacks being more likely to commit crimes in USA. The Gypsies being more likely to commit crime in Europe. The Origins of the Gypsies being of Hindu People who fled west is now well established. The Protestants and Hindus used to be more likely to commit crime in Indonesia until the growth of Bali led to Indonesian Hindus being one of the most advanced groups in the country with lowest crime rates.
Muslims in India are a socio economic backward community moreso because after 1857 the British oppressed them for three decades while Hindus advanced before they came up with divide and rule to counter the growing national consciousness among Hindus. That head start of the Hindus was never bridged. Then the Muslim Intelligentsia in North India for a large part left for Pakistan, the same elite ones of UP and Bihar who actually caused the partition. Thus the Muslim community left was back to a poor socio economic status.
The policies and everything that is labelled appeasement did nothing for an average Muslim but only the mullahs/imams and the community leaders. Statistics say that an average Muslim is more likely to commit a crime and if one looks at the backward castes of Hindus the difference is very minor. And again same is the case of educated Muslims vs educated Hindus. The difference primarily lies among the fact that the Hindu educated class is far larger than the Muslim educated class proportion wise to the whole community. An average Muslim is no different from an average Hindu of the same socio economic background and all they care about is going to work and after that going back home to their family.
As for intolerance and calls for violence, there are plenty of people from each community across both India and the world that do exactly the same.

And you can still see that happening. Opposition still criticizes rich people for being rich and offer tax money to people for free.

Hindustan Motors is a trully Indian company following Indian ethics. True Aatmanirbharata will come when it revives to make iconic ambassodor again and other cars with new technology. Foreign brands at present ruined Indian brands and Indian ethics.

License raj aaj bhi kabhi nahi gya hai jo insaan choti si shop bhi chalata hai use bhai pata hai chote se chota license bhi bina rishvat k nahi milta. Tabhi is country me sarkari naukri k liye itni maara maari hai. Every one loves "upar ki kamai".

Even Gandi was of regressive mindset . Just to show he was as good as mahatma, though his lifestyle was far from a mahatma generously supported financially by J L Bajaj , this half clad man wanted all others to follow his mind and lifestyle .

The Licence Raj was a direct result of British Raj. India was new and we had already a been left bad taste of giving too much power to one company (east India company). So now govt didn’t want any private sector to be liberal and powerful than the govt itself. About the car industry automotive are still considered as a luxury in India. With heavy taxation and repetitive tax over tax system. And there is no representation on this topic. Old lobbyist don’t want tax revision as this will open the market further with greater accessibility to various brands at a considerable cheaper rate. In end consumer is at loss.

    उस जमाने मे क्या सोसिअल औऱ इकोनोमिकल टर्म औऱ कंडीशन रही होगी उसके हिसाब से सरकार ने फैसले लिए होंगें।
