A true blessing has been my youngest daughter who's eight and a half and brought out my crafty side. And luckily because of videos I am learning how to do crafts and get organized. I have had lots of health issues for the last 3 years and my life changed drastically because of this. One way I have been able to stay feeling inspired and hopeful is through RUclips. Minute 2:13 the Flexible Ties hanging next to the Fairies ... this product is GREAT ... Rubber over wire, it can be cut to any length and it can hold its shape. I wrap cords to travel, bundle up cords to keep them controlled, attach in a ring to hang items ... So many uses!
That store is so clean and organized! Props to the manager and employees. Totally stands out to me. I have one in the town next to me that's a hot mess and I cringe walking in.

There is a BIG Dollar Tree in Greensboro and when we go there I always want to stop there my husband calls it it the holly grail of of the Dollar Trees because I love it so much!!!! LOL : - )

Marlene S I love DT, but yes, you definitely have to pick and choose your items and know your unit prices! I have cupcake containers from there, and they only hold 9 and are not deep enough to hold the cupcakes securely! Disposable party supplies are fine, though.
Linden Peters yeah, I can find a few items that I can use, but I guess I am becoming more of a minimalist where I just prefer a good quality item that I really need that isn't just cheap plastic or frivolous things.
I agree that some items are of a lesser quality and it therefore makes sense to get them somewhere else but some things, such as the items you mentioned, seasonal decor and organizing products I find are often of the same quality of items found for a higher price in other stores.
Cheryl Moore I think she lives near Reston, VA. It's a very high-cost-of-living area, which explains all the nice stuff in her thrift stores, too. My husband may soon be working in the neighboring city of Herndon, and we would not even be able to afford to live in Reston. It is literally right next to Herndon, but the same houses cost like $100K more.
