The producer of this song said that he made the beat for Migos but they didn't use it. After that, NCT's label bought the song and finished writing it. This is a common thing that happens with NCT and other kpop artists.

“naega” in Korean translates to “Me/I” or “you” in the language. Also there is behind the scene videos on their channel of the recording process

Some members of NCT do participate in writing and producing their music. Generally, from what I have seen, the parts of the songs are divided up before they start recording. With NCT U since the unit rotates, once they have a song they pick the members they think best fit the song.

from what i know the writer and producer of the song do not choose who sings which part, its the A&R team in SM ent. that decides, since they know the members very well and who fits which part
but the members sometimes do write their raps, and in their solo songs and albums
They should react to New Axis - NCT U (mark, taeyong, yangyang)
