I have been a caregiver for the last decade, and after my husband passed away this past Father's Day, I feel as though I have been fired from my job! I'm not complaining about taking care of my husband, and for quite some time his sister who passed away almost two years ago. I live in an apartment complex so there is no garden for me. And I tried to feed some feathered friends last year, but they made too much of a mess so my neighbor next door and the one in the apartment below me weren't very happy with bird poop on their balconies! And, finches aren't very quiet, so the bickering over territory was a bit of a nuisance for them as well. I loved watching their antics, and it saddened me to have to give it up. I miss Vanessa too (the sweet support cat at the nursing home). She and I got along fabulously! I enjoyed the walk around and it always pleases me to see the many blessings of God. Your escort was also quite articulate and quick to help you point out the greens and peppers. Enjoy those wonderful cherry tomatoes over the next few days and rest up. Your RUclips family has become a lovely community i which to visit. God bless you, the kitty krew, and the rest of the kin folk. :)
Your birdies would also love a nice water bath! I can't feed birds where I live either but my birdbath (nothing more than a big drip tray for a plant container) gets lots of attention. Some days they seem to come in rotation--doves in the morning, cardinals midday, and chickadees in the afternoon! 😁
Your pepper gardens are so impressive! I have a few things in my tiny garden. Onions, potatoes, parsley, nasturtiums, lilly pilly berry shrubs and of course I count dandelions as vegetables too. Lilly pilly berries are native bush tucker trees. There are other native plants in my gardens too. I'm thankful to have my little garden. There is meant to be Hurricane Nadine next. Keep your eye on that trajectory and evacuate early with your kitties. Take care and stay safe.
Aloha Mr Tom and Kitty 🐈⬛ Krew👋 fresh veggies is always good eating yummm 😋 you’re looking good and strong 💪 Mr Tom! Thank you Jesus for Mr Tom’s healing ❤ Mahalo for sharing your plants 🪴 with us😊 it’s always a pleasure watching your videos. Stay safe God bless you
We are dealing with this hurricane Mr. Tom it’s so nice to a see your vegetables and the kitty crew. Our community did have a tornado so far just praying that the night won’t be bad. Prayers for you and the kitty crew🌻
Glad to see you Mr. Tom! You are looking and sounding well! Boy, your garden sure did better than mine! Collards look good! Peppers are amazing! And yes sir, after all you have endured, your garden is a testament to your perseverance and resiliency! Please be patient with yourself, don’t push to hard. Keep your fluids up and try some cranberry juice for your bladder. I pray for your continued healing and bless you and your loved ones…🌻🍁🌻
That’s a pepper paradise 🙏 it is indeed a beautiful day in your neighborhood.i think the eyes of a lot of the world are on Florida right now. I’m looking forward to breakfast with you in your cozy country kitchen. May God bless you.🙏
Glad you had a strength to do a walk-about. Those tomatoes look tasty. I didn't plant this year, so I got my veggies from Food Lion. You still got a right smart harvest at the end of the planting season. Sorry to hear that you are still having problems with your bladder. Maybe that and your fatigue will soon pass. That hurricane business of both Helene and now Milton is very disheartening, especially with the devastation Helene caused in deaths and property damage. Whole towns wiped off the face of this earth is almost unimaginable. And Milton's ferociousness to populated areas is heartbreaking. I'm glad that you are not in the path of Milton. Stay safe my friend and keep your furry friends close.
I made it to 76 ! I worked on losing another 10 lbs this summer so my bad knee won't give me so much trouble when doing my daily walk. A mile and a half is the usual daily walk for me. 11 years ago I weighed in at 250 ... now around 140 about the middle of "normal" BMI. Losing the weight is easy, maintaining the weight loss is the hard part for me.
I'm excited about my potatoes, Mr. Tom! Twice I've stuck my hand into the dirt of one of the potato bags and come out with a whole handful of red potatoes. Last night I had new potatoes plus fresh green beans that I grew, and had enough left over for tonight. My kale and chard have done well, too. And I got enough jalapenos to make a good cupful of Cowboy Candy. Last spring I sprinkled the worm compost over my plants and man, they took off. My chocolate mint completely cascaded out of its pot like a green waterfall--I didn't know it could grow over five inches tall. For me, a pretty good little crop this year. Hugs to you and the kitty krew!
Oh its BLT time. Salad...ok. those tomatoes look yummy. Maybe a macaroni salad with tomatoes and cucumbers. A little onion. Your dukes, a little lawrys salt, and cheese maybe? Now im hungry.
I'm so happy you are feeling better, and thank you for the prayers for our Helene victims and the people in Florida facing Milton. I think your garden is looking great for the year you've had! God is good!
Hello Mr.Tom.My tomatoes are long gone here in Southern Illinois. My Cateract surgery last week was a success.I have 20 20 vision in my one eye.I have to have the other eye surgery next month.I hope it's a sucess.

That goldenrod is magnificent 👌 The bees will love you ❤ I see Spooky is staying close to Papa ! I sat down for a cup of tea and a piece of cake and voila ! There you were ❤ so happy to see you and the kitty krew. You're right Mr Tom, after going through a lot of big earthquakes, stuff didnt mean much, thats for sure. We do forget that, sometimes we need a reminder , it means nothing, its people and animals lives that matter most. Later all ❤

Good to see you, Mr. Tom! Boy, sure didn't think the collards would make it after those worms helped themselves earlier this summer. Had a heck of a time with the salad onions this year. Did the same thing I always do, growing them in pots and such. Maybe next year. Glad to hear you're getting more energy and please rest when your body tells you to. All my best to you and the kitties!
Good to see you feeling better I pray 🙏 for your continued recovery. It’s awesome that you still have veggies coming from your garden. Maybe you could show us the recipe using them. I’m good to see the kitty. Take care, Mr. Tom.❤😊
Howdy Sir, sure good to pay you a visit... Please stay safe.. we do worry about you and the kitties... we discovered we have a baby Possum in our Basement laundry room... Not sure who it got there but its a cute little thing. we are making sure it has food and water until we can get a live trap to free it... Spooky has grown into such a beautiful panther...your garden is still doing well, we have nothing growing now.. the extreme heat and dry made growing a struggle this year...Take care rest as you need. know your in our thought and prayers, we love you sir. Enjoyed walking around the yard with you Tom. Being in the same medical boat that you are, just do what you can when you can. Treatment can be a real bummer, by the way,you are not alone waiting for those results. I'm right there with you.
Hello Mr Tom. Good to see you still have veggies growing. I still have 1 cherry tomato plant in a pot, and 1 pepper plant in a grow bag that I’ll try to transplant into a pot. I’m bringing them into the house and see if I can keep alive over winter. Calling for a light frost in my area tonight. Time to let my garden rest. Happy to hear your slowly getting better.
Im about 90 miles from Tampa Bay and we had wind gust to 80 MPH. Twisted off some Live Oak branches and Spanish Moss. I feel blessed to have faired as well as we did.
Your flowers are lovely Mr. Tom. ❤️ the bumblebees. My green peppers are finally growing. My jalapeño and banana peppers are done for the year. I have a few tomatoes left, but not many.
Good day to you, sir Tom. Bless your heart. You are 100 % correct on the comment , stuff. Having lost 2 wives to c / 37 & 15 yrs , stuff holds no value . So now, while in the winter of life have sold my home and all my stuff or donated to charity all the while starting the next journey with a new love . In the beginning we come into the world with nothing and in the end we can't take stuff with us and the memories of the journey is all we really have.
Glad to hear that you are doing better, and thanks so much for sharing your beautiful garden veggies, fruits, and plants! The kittens are so precious. If a bladder infection is anything like a urinary infection, then cranberry juice may help. I'm still praying for you in my neck of the woods. My summer garden is wrapping up, but we do have some of those lovely cherry tomatoes, lots of peppers, some okra, a few cucumbers, squash, and green beans. I did plant lots of collards for fall, and they are doing well, a few other veggies, too. Is there a P.O. Box address where we can send you cards and goodies? Don't overdo it with the mower! God Bless from OK!
I'm glad you're feeling better. It's cooling off at night here in the upper peninsula of Michigan. Tonight the wind off the lake is rattling the screens. Summer is not my favorite season (too hot and humid) so I'm glad that's over for this year.

I have several purple okra plants which we will let go to seed and some small cherry tomatoes. The rest of the garden gone as we are in the Ozarks in Missouri. I can't seem to get collards to grow, so I use the Lambs Quarter for our greens!
Garden still looking lovely Tom. You always take such good care of it, even though you don't feel good. Blessings to feel better and have better health. Love you. MGBYAML ❤
Sure was nice to see your vegies on their plants Mr. Tom.. I was going to ask how your bushes on both sides of the front door are doing; but then you went and sat on the porch. I was thinking that the one your the right was a berry bush-I guess their through for the year. So sorry that you're still have a problem with burning. But glad that you understand that you were maybe to expect that and that the feeling will go away soon.. Love to you and Kitty Krew
Hi Mr. Tom good to see you. You are right things can wait your health comes first. Our garden here in Northern California is doing well, much better than it was in the summer. For breakfast I keep it simple but usually have scrambled eggs and toast. Fresh eggs from the chickens make a delicious breakfast.
Probably a good sign that Tom has energy to walk around yard after medical situation. I know I couldn't walk much after my prostate surgery. Took me a couple weeks. Now I'm cruising around the neighborhood with my Rollator walker. Maybe Tom gets lucky and another stray kitty comes for visit?
I've got a cherry tomato beside my house. It's finally turning tomatoes to red. They are so tasty. I had a hole by my house so I threw a plant or two into the hole
I can grow all sorts of peppers but not a bell pepper no matter how hard i try..i need to drag me out some tires and give that a try ❣️ I know i was saving them for some reason

Hi, 👋 Mr Tom. I see you've got some delicious ripe cherry tomatoes up high, too!! Hi 👋 Spooky. Well, wasps pollinate the figs. Do you have any late summer figs? If you carried a clean milk jug (with a hole cut near the top & the handle theough an extra belt around your waist) while you went on these walks, you could pick as you go on the smaller stuff like cherry tomatoes and lunch box peppers. It would save you a trip later. But im guessing you've already thought of that. I think you're amazing Mr. Tom with all you've managed to do this summer. 😂 Spooky standing in for Speedy. 😂 I know you're far from Milton. I know a few that did & a few that didn't evacuate, including my grandson who's in a shelter to ride it out. Treatment: yes. That burning will take a while. Giddyup & go. I get it. Breakfast for me is leftovers or when i have a lot and enough energy i will scramble some eggs over onions, black olives, and on top added spinach and a few bits of cheese IF I HAVE any. Hi 👋 Cleo
I'm glad you made this video, it reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, $14k biweekly and a good daughter full of love..
Hello 👋 how're you earning such weekly? I was born a Christian, and sometimes I feel down on myself because of low finances, but I still believe in God
Thanks to Mrs. Elizabeth Regina Nelsen's time in my life, which had a profound impact on me.
Sounds familiar. I have heard her name on several occasions and read about her success stories in wall street journal!
Who's Elizabeth Regina Nelsen!?looking forward to this opportunity Can I also sign up from Ontario Canada?
She is really a good investment advisor. I was privilege to attend some of her seminars. That's how I started my own crypto investment.

I know you're far from Milton. I know a few that did & a few that didn't evacuate, including my grandson who's in a shelter to ride it out.
Treatment: yes. That burning will take a while.

Breakfast for me is leftovers or when i have a lot and enough energy i will scramble some eggs over onions, black olives, and on top added spinach and a few bits of cheese IF I HAVE any.

I've got green tomatoes on some of my plants but I'm trying to hedge how long to leave them on the vine before the frost hits. Same with the peppers.
Had better than 50 tornadoes!! Not sure of the damage...i pray not much!!
