Congrats, Keith on being selected ESPN's #1 RB for 2012. Great honor, well deserved. Can't wait for you to show off those skills in Athens, GA - the greatest college town in the country. GO DAWGS!
If you don't recognize how special this kid is then you just don't know football. He has elite speed at ANY level. Great vision, balance, and like Tony Dorsett, very good power for a back his size. His burst is something that can't be measured by a stopwatch. He can run as fast as he needs to. In one word---ELECTRIC!!!
Amen!!!! Finally somebody knows what their talking about. With the players they have coming back this year, and the recruiting classes they have had the last couple of years UGA will be a team to watch out for in the 2012-13 college football season.
Ok, I know that great kids come out every year, but this kid's burst and patience remind me of Marshall Faulk. I am even more impressed with this young man's GPA! I don't care where you are from, a 4.2 GPA shows that from 9th grade, this youg man was dialed in to being a COMPLETE scholar athlete. he has placed himself in a position to where EVERY door is open to him academically AND athletically! I look forward to seeing Keith Marshall be a playmaker on our planet, not just the gridiron!
WOOOOOOOWWW!!! Absolutely Amazing!!! This kid CAN FLY. He looks like he is not running hard at all, and he is flying past EVERYONE!! Kid is a MONSTER, a TRUE MAN among BOYS! Cant wait to see him at Georgia, the entire Bulldog Nation is extremely happy to have you Keith. You will make a dangerous duo with Isiah Crowell (once he gets his head on straight). WOW is all I have to say to these highlights....
OSU fan here, UGA just keeps getting the top rbs... Building a nice class. Hopefully Urban can build one up this year, and totally rock it next year. BTW, this guy is a beast! He will be a good one.
Holy crap..this guys my hero..I watch him before a practice so ik what to do haha..he makes everyone look like 10 year olds tryna tackle..I'm definitly following this kid in his carrer
I hope you enjoy your visit to ND in a few weeks. It's a beautiful campus, and the buzz around the USC game will be quite an experience. Coming to ND will guarantee you endless love and support from a nationwide fan base (and that valuable notre dame degree). Regardless of your college decision, the Irish nation wishes you all the best.
Keith, you have skills and a brain. The sky is the limit. We'd love to have you in Athens, GA. Regardless, good luck to you wherever you find yourself running the rock.
Nothing finer than wearing the Red and Black with the G on the helmet. Keith has the talent. Georgia could refine it and get you to the bigs, with a damn good degree to boot. Would love to see him at UGA, but wish him the best of luck wherever you decide to go. Hopefully he keeps God first and family and education at a close second, and he can't go wrong.
no one else on the field touches his athleticism or speed. i hope he considers the most prestigous program in all of college sports.. Notre Dame. wherever he goes, he'll definitely be an immediate difference maker.
AU has signed top 5 o-line classes 2 years in a row. Now if you want to get some big holes to run through, I think we all know the right place to come to. Good luck with the process, and hope to see you in O and B! War Eagle!
This kid is unreal... If UGA can get him and shore up our offensive line problems(Just got a commitment from John Theus) I would say that we would have a great chance to compete for the 2012/2013 SEC championships
Can't believe this has turned into a Weis debate. Weis is an amazing OC and knows his offenses. He did great things in NE, a few years of solid offense in South Bend, and his one season in KC. He is not a good head coach, but a great assistant. He didn't know how to develop players and didn't recruit well in certain areas, leaving the Irish dry (DL and DB specifically). That being said, Marshall is all UGA unless something wild happens that probably wont. I want him at ND, but he's a Dawg.
Perfect fit for ND, early playing time in bunches doesn't have to share with Crowell or Bernard. ND has only 2 healthy scholarship RB's right now and one of those is a SR. ND doesn't have a RB that fits Kelly's spread on the roster. The spread was made for a dynamic runner like Keith Marshall. Imagine LaMichael James but faster and in a gold helmet and that's Keith Marshall in ND's offense AS A FRESHMAN. National TV every game, tremendous history and academics, great young coach and rising team.
Man he'd look good in a Hokies uniform. Virginia Tech will send two running backs to the NFL draft in April, and be looking for immediate help in 2012. we want Keith Marshall.
I hope Notre Dame really lays out the red carpet for Keith. They can show all the benefits of a world-wide alumni network, a degree thats actually still useful out of state, and the fact that Coach Kelly is for real. Kelly went and got some defensive studs. Now, he wants electricity in the backfield. Not very often you can say you are a part of rebuilding something great. Savon Huggins was afraid to play in the spread and stayed home. ND still needs an RB who isnt afraid to play b4 80k.
already talking with Darby and Shepard, apparently they would like to EE together. ND is building on to an insane 2011 class, this '12 class could be special
@tidecoys aside from the defensive side of the ball and the insane ST they had and will continue to have for the next four years, the WR posish is real nice with Floyd returning (#1 commitment) of the 2012 class, TJ Jones, Eifert, riddick. i would say the OLine is also a very big upside
@GingerAleRain hahah, ND had the #1 dline or defensive haul- Ishaq, Lynch, Tuitt 5 stars, and others that will compete for time- Councell rabasa and Farley who is so underrated (1 year of HS football) that analysts didnt know enough about him. Kelly and Diaco solidified those commitments in Ishaq, Lynch and Tuitt- last minute phone calls, and last minute visits to the brooklyn doorstep of Ishaq. ND might be behind, but i like it, gives Tee, Darby and Diaco some time to work-
Wow, it looks like the vid only speeds up for Marshall, incredible speed. You would fit perfectly coming out of the shotgun formation for ND. Good luck with the recruiting, but that is some amazing video.
@orangeblood307 There's a reason he's the #1 RB in the country dude. He's not breaking off big runs because of his speed...he has patience and vision. He knows where to make a cut and knows how to make you miss. His speed takes over once he make you miss. If UGA's O-line can create holes then watch out. He won't be 190 lbs for long. Coach JT 2 will add some bulk to em'. He and Crowell will make one hell of a duo next year
QB: "well there isnt anyone covering me on the option....should i take it myself?......naahhhhh. ill give in to Keith. ..... oh hey, he scored a touchdown. "
"I graduated from the University of Notre Dame, the No. 1 undergraduate business school in the country, where I helped lead the Fighting Irish to their 13th consensus National Championship"
Be part of the legendary team that Coach Hoke leads back to the promised land. The most prestigious college football program, and one of the most prestigious colleges of all time. Wear the traditional winged helmet and show your toughness battling week in and week out in the Big 10. Beat Ohio State all four years. You and Gardener would be an extremely dangerous backfield that the University of Michigan would showcase to the country. HAIL TO THE VICORS! GO BLUE!
@GingerAleRain once again, KM has mentioned interest in playing with both Darby and Shep- ND is a NC contender, if not this year, next year for sure- the way they're rolling right now- without a doubt
Man we can use this guy in the Orange and Blue... I hope the visit last weekend made an impression on him... What ever you do Keith... stay away from Georgia!!!!!! GO GATORS!
WELCOME 2 UGA MARSHALL!! If Crowell Steps Up & This Guy Lives Up 2 Da Hype Georgia Could Hav Da BEST Rushing Attack In Da Country Next Season...GO DAWGS!!
@tigerblood1993 "I am solid with Notre Dame," Darby said. "I just like to go to other places and see how things are. I am 100-percent solid with Notre Dame." That was taken from an article on ESPN July 24th.. He went to Auburn for a track meet that was it..
1.) Wow 2.) This kid would light up teams in front of 80k every weekend on national tv. 3.) People would just come to see him and scream "MAAARRRRSHHHAALLL" at every TD while saluting each other. 4.) BK said he wants to run more like he did against Miami and that the #1 Priority would be game changing offensive players. Keith would instantly see touches. 5.) Is he by chance related to the Rocket? No matter, the blood of sport binds them. 6.) Instead of the next Bush, who is the next Keith M?
He runs a 4.43 according to ESPN. still fucking fast. He'd be perfect at Michigan. Imagine him as an all down back and a guy who can also lineup in the Shotgun with DENARD ROBINSON. Game over.
@tidecoys Yeah right now the ACC is down, but with some strong recruiting classes from teams like Clemson, FSU and UNC the conference is gonna get better.
@GingerAleRain lol it's not desperation- he's already got an official set up this fall in South Bend so... if he doesnt commit to ND itd be a huge surprise
Congrats, Keith on being selected ESPN's #1 RB for 2012. Great honor, well deserved. Can't wait for you to show off those skills in Athens, GA - the greatest college town in the country. GO DAWGS!

this kid is the future ! whatever school he does choose he will be great. Im just looking forward to seeing him perform.

marshall+crowell+malcome=sick combo im really liking the future of this program great to be a Georgia bulldog dawgnation
Welcome to the stable, Keith. Our program is changing for the better, and you coming here is icing on the cake. Go Dawgs!!!
Some kids are born to be Golden. Don't settle for less Keith!
I hope you enjoy your visit to ND in a few weeks. It's a beautiful campus, and the buzz around the USC game will be quite an experience. Coming to ND will guarantee you endless love and support from a nationwide fan base (and that valuable notre dame degree). Keith Welcome to UGA ...you will be appreciated here. Excellent GPA..sounds like a great young man!
Keith, you have skills and a brain. The sky is the limit. We'd love to have you in Athens, GA. Regardless, good luck to you wherever you find yourself running the rock.
Blue & Gold, Keith. You will do great things @ ND!!!
HE IS ALL DAWG. THIS IS WHY WE OWN GT RIGHT HERE!
Notre Dame. wherever he goes, he'll definitely be an immediate difference maker.
and this is why the sec is so damn good every year. and nice number
WOW. unreal. he has genius ankles and he runs like he got shot out of a cannon...he is something special..whatever school gets him is really lucky.
AU has signed top 5 o-line classes 2 years in a row. Now if you want to get some big holes to run through, I think we all know the right place to come to. Good luck with the process, and hope to see you in O and B! War Eagle!
War Eagle!!! Auburn tops his list on ESPN!!! Running back U baby!!! Good luck to you wherever attend!!! Beast
It's not that we fan hate him, it's the fact that he is injured too much too often. It's more frustration than anything.
Marshall and Dyer would be the best duo ever! War Damn Eagle and hope to see you on the Auburn Plains!!! National Champs baby!!!
Go Irish...tough loss last week but still so much talent on the team...Cierre Wood and Keith Marshall in the same backfield, not even fair
This kid is unreal... If UGA can get him and shore up our offensive line problems(Just got a commitment from John Theus) I would say that we would have a great chance to compete for the 2012/2013 SEC championships
That burst at 2:05 is just ridiculous. Elite acceleration.
Can't believe this has turned into a Weis debate. Weis is an amazing OC and knows his offenses. He did great things in NE, a few years of solid offense in South Bend, and his one season in KC.
He is not a good head coach, but a great assistant.

He would excel in Notre Dame's system and Heisman voters would see every game.
notre dame is a great fit for this kid, he is a player and I love the way he runs. Great body lean andhe can cut on a dime.
Man he'd look good in a Hokies uniform. Virginia Tech will send two running backs to the NFL draft in April, and be looking for immediate help in 2012. we want Keith Marshall.
what a great prospect. Top ten
can't wait to see this guy Saturday in Athens!
Keith Marhsall, Notre Dame's #1 All-Around "Must Get" Recruit -according to Irish Sports Daily 6/20/11
Go Irish! Enjoy your visit Keith!!
That one play keep killing em'
He is going to be a stud no matter where he goes. He needs to come to Florida. We could use another powerhouse.
i know the irish really like him. he looks like a Lee Becton with speed. speed + sharp cuts = deadly on any level.
HE'S A DAWG BABY!!!
I hope Notre Dame really lays out the red carpet for Keith. They can show all the benefits of a world-wide alumni network, a degree thats actually still useful out of state, and the fact that Coach Kelly is for real. Kelly went and got some defensive studs. Auburns leading the race! Running Back U baby! Georgia been on a downhill spiral anyways. Cant get that alabama blackout game out of my head. haha
already talking with Darby and Shepard, apparently they would like to EE together. ND is building on to an insane 2011 class, this '12 class could be special
i'd love to see this guy on the west coast in the green and yellow. he looks like a back who would thrive in Chip Kelly's offense.
I would say this kid is pretty much everybody's #1 "Must Get." How many teams can afford not to go after the best running back in the country?
UGA is at the top of his list. Florida is not even close
Damn he gonna kill us this year
Keith your #4 jersey awaits you in Tuscaloosa
The no.1 rated RB in the ESPNU 150. he does have a little Marshall faulk in him
welcome to UGA keith. sic em dawgs
Can't wait to see you in South Bend.
Just visited South Carolina and hit it up great with Marcus Lattimore.
would love to see that young man in sanford stadium...good luck wherever ya go, but come on down to athens!
@GingerAleRain hahah, ND had the #1 dline or defensive haul- Ishaq, Lynch, Tuitt 5 stars, and others that will compete for time- Councell rabasa and Farley who is so underrated (1 year of HS football) that analysts didnt know enough about him. A hero at Notre Dame would have national fans.
Wow, it looks like the vid only speeds up for Marshall, incredible speed. You would fit perfectly coming out of the shotgun formation for ND. Good luck with the recruiting, but that is some amazing video.

ND -- No Doubt!

@1993ivan that was beast
He runs a 4.43 according to ESPN. still fucking fast. He'd be perfect at Michigan. Imagine him as an all down back and a guy who can also lineup in the Shotgun with DENARD ROBINSON. Game over.
Couple of spots he could be a little more patient, but damn he is a pretty sure talent for any college.
Why would he want to go freeze is ass off in South Bend, Indiana? The greatest college town in America is calling your name, Keith! Athens, GA, baby.
@tidecoys Yeah right now the ACC is down, but with some strong recruiting classes from teams like Clemson, FSU and UNC the conference is gonna get better.
lmfao look at the dude at 1:27. he looks like his ankle just shattered from marshall whippin him
@GingerAleRain lol it's not desperation- he's already got an official set up this fall in South Bend so... if he doesnt commit to ND itd be a huge surprise
We need this guy so we can have our own lightning and thunder with Matt Jones commiting to us! GO GATORS

#ducknation
AU needs ONE MORE dominate RB. You're name is being called. WDE
its some good lineman on that team as well look for some of them to go some place
Instinctive runner. Would look good in Blue and White. What's the sound track?
Two words, Go Dawgs.
