    Her fight out of the hole on that last lift was insane. I don't know that I've ever seen anyone recover like that and still hit the jerk. That was amazing.

    • @brandonrapola
      @brandonrapola 3 года назад +14

      The energy used to get out of the hole depletes a lifter, then her leg drive in her jerk was so damn powerful with speed!

      The clean and jerk consists of the clean and jerk movements. The snatch is one explosive movement from the ground to catching the bar overhead. The power clean is a variation of the full clean. You should look at their RUclips page. They explain it better.

    • @lvl-3bot

      thats what the magic juice does.

    • @earlj.d.6285
      @earlj.d.6285 3 года назад +2

      @anonymous “power clean” just mean the hips stay above parallel when the bar meets the shoulders, while using the knees as the marker to gauge hip height. A clean caught on the shoulders with the hips above the knee from as high as standing tall to as low as just above the knees are all “power cleans”
      A “clean” is the same movements but the hips getting lower than the knees when the bar meets the shoulder.
      Don’t let the word “power” get you confused. ALL weightlifting movements require power. It just comes down to where is the hip in relation to the knees when the bar is on the shoulders (cleans) or locked out overhead (snatches)
