No need to rush through, I would love to hear your thoughts on the entire episodes!! Not enough creators (especially legendary queens) are covering DRPH and it’s one of my favorite series.
So glad that you’re doing this *despite* WOW - but it gives you total freedom Matilduh looked stunning throughout the episode, but her runway especially was stunning. Arizona Brandy - I like her runway as it was a different idea although I would’ve preferred the trailing feather bits from the dream catcher trailing in volume from her dress, as they were stitched to the dress, then they would’ve stood out more and given really nice movement to the outfit. Tiny Deluxe - I like her. Someone else has done a cock-fighting inspired outfit recently and I can’t think who, but it was better done. She didn’t actually need to alter the outfit that much, imo: different footwear to go with the ankle pieces, liked the shape, would’ve put the colourful rooster heads on something else so you could show them fighting, so on the arms somewhere, or make the headdress animate with strings or something. Probably easiest to put them on gloves or gauntlets though and make a smaller headress. The judges pulled her up on not matching the others as well during the girl group challenge but when you’re bigger than the others, it’s harder to buy standard costume stuff and you can’t just borrow something from another queen to make a more cohesive look. KatKat: liked the idea of her runway but there was something slightly off about her showgirl outfit - I can’t put my finger on what - that didn’t show her lovely figure off to its best, but it was still pretty and I liked the feathers on the back. I couldn’t see any blue on there either but it was probably just the angle and lights, but that meant it wasn’t immediately obvious that it was the trans flag colours and I personally would’ve liked that to be clearer, and a pale grey feather cloak, rather than white, and then I would’ve understood it perfectly without her explanation 😊 I think untucked might turn into the KatKat show as she’s ruffled so many feathers in the Pinoy drag world, and is so shady already! She’s going to be messy! But entertaining ! Nicole Pardeaux: I agree with Offgina here: I knew that they were feathers on her outfit because it was a feather runway and I was told they were feathers, but I’m not watching in UHD on an enormous screen (others may be) and to me they looked more like fans, which could be made of feathers, but looked stiff enough to have been made from card. A little more softness at the ends of the feathers so you could see individual strands moving and a gentle waft of softer feathers would’ve helped. I think she was probably on quite a tight budget though and feathers are pricey. M1ss Jade So: she’s stunning. I loved her colourful feather runway look and it contrasted perfectly with her look from the performance. If she hadn’t already had the chance to show off her amazing body, the way she was demurely hidden by the colourful feather wings folded around her wouldn’t have had as much impact, but it would still have looked beautiful and her make up was incredible. She’s great in conversations and confessionals. She’s going to be a big fan favourite. Ongina/Offgina: Are you going to invite Rock to join you occasionally ?? 😘
