Ken is very unassuming; in all his quiet disposition, he would surprise everyone with something not expected of him, just like when he came up with Palayo. He was the awkward introvert from the province who didn’t know much about city life (he was too shy to even order food in a fast food) but left every one in awe when he was the first among his members to come up with a single (Palayo) and then another (Bulan, which earned him an invite to perform at the Grammy Global Spin, another first not just for SB19 but for all full-blooded Filipino artists too) and the first to come up with an EP (Complex). He was also a three-time Fashion Influencer of the Year, to think that not so long before this feat, he came from a far-flung province. And he just keeps on (im)proving his mettle, winning recognitions here and there. But in all these, he remains the adorable “baby” that he really is behind that swag persona which he said is necessary in his chosen career. ❤

This PALAYO song is the FIRST EVER officially released solo song/project of Felip & FIRST among SB19 members and also the FIRST EVER solo official song/project in the PPOP industry! It's breaking the barriers & Felip was courageous enough to do that in spite of a lot of apprehensions from other fans because they were accusing him of wanting to leave the group. It paved the way for the other comembers to pursue solo projects too. He also was awarded in this Wish Bus performance as BEST R & B PERFORMANCE in 2022 (fyi, his first ever live solo performance of Palayo after release) & BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST of the YEAR 2022, the FIRST SOLO project/song/artist awarded in the PPOP history in the prestigious Wish Awards.

This was his first solo performance and he was super nervous but you couldn't even tell. Now he has totally evolve to be super confident. Please check out his new single "Fake Faces".
This was Ken/Felip's awkward era. He's an inteovert and you can see clearly on the wishbua performance that he was very shy and not that confident. Pablo was just at the back of the booth and showing his support to help Ken with his nervousness coz it was his first solo performance.
Pls pls do watch Felip's PpopCon 23 performance. He's confidence grew exponentially and he gave us such a monster performance. If you are not a fan, you will definitely be converted. That cemented my being a Ken bias.
Also, Ken/Felip can do all types of genre. Rap, ballad, RnB, punk rock, hip hop..you name it, he can do it. He's that versatile and the fact that he is the main dancer of SB19 is chef's kiss.
He recently released a new single and its a pop rock. So excited for Tanya to hear that.
I honestly didn't like the styling in Palayo and yes, the eyewear was an eyesore. The stylist was proud of that one but it honestly made me cringe seeing it. Thank God Ken can get away with anything. ( pls don't hate me for it, personal opinion. ) He won thrice and become a hall of fame for being a Trendsetter in fashion in which he is better off without a stylist. ( again, personal opinion )
True! Ken can style himself on his own looking like the rockstar that he truly is… he doesn’t need a stylist. His sense of style is very trendy & current. Ken has literally come out of his shell. Felip and his voice is totally EARGASMIC
This was not his first choice for starting his solo career but he performed it in one of their early Online concerts and the fans wanted it. In that concert he wore all red. You should try and find it. He created this entire MV on his own. There is a "Making" video of this as well. I'm not sure if it's one video or two. As for the Wish performance, this was his first Solo ever and he was nervous. His brothers were behind the door to the studio on the bus cheering him on! You can tell they are way more comfortable with Wish now. By the way this is sung in his native language and even many Filipinos needed English subs to understand the lyrics.

Tanya, we understand you! and sympathize with you! 🥰 We too were wrecked! In fact the whole fandom was wrecked when he first performed this in their online show in 2021-2022 I think (song was not officially released yet). The fans demanded endlessly for him to release this song officially...and of course Ken complied coz he loves his fans too much. When he finally released this song thus "FELIP" was born. This was a fandom's favorite for quite a while & even the other fandom's houses were wrecked by Felip by then...but Felip said this is not his favorite song of his...Ironic, isn't it? 😄😀

Sb19 staff favorite was ken. Even their sylist love ken. So when ken wishes of approved to have more than 4 sets of clothes in this mv. The stylist did that. And almost all clothes were custom made for ken.
The skin tone shirt was made by a fan... the fan was also a small designer... Ken loves the gift and uses this in his mv. Thats what i remembered their stylist said.
The Palayo era was the most awkward era for KEN/FELIP. Being introverted, reserved, and shy, he performed live on the Wish Bus for the first time. He was just standing there, feeling very nervous, but thankfully, Pablo was there at the back supporting him.
Additionally, it was the very first time that a Filipino artist, especially a solo artist, wore outfits like KEN's in a music video. He broke the norms that only women can wear crop tops because of our very conservative country. He was brave enough to let people know that he can pull off anything. Ken Suson has received his third win as the FASHION INFLUENCER OF THE YEAR at the 4th VP Choice Awards, marking his grand slam for the category. Imagine our shock when he did the body roll and that floor dance. 😅It was done so well that we A'TIN requested for it to be released. And much to our delight, he gave us this sensuous MV, a gift for A'TIN. ❤Felip's first Wishbus perf. Evidently he was shy and nervous but he did prevail doing solo, and from that on he did great. SB19 was there cheering for him.

Palayo, pronounced as "Pah-lah-yoh" is the first single from Ken as a soloist under the name Felip and is also the first solo debut song from an SB19 member. The fandom went nuts over this debut as it is the very first solo debut. Ken/Felip has released a lot more songs and personally, his discography is absolutely no-skip. He just gives us bangers after bangers. You should check his solo songs more and all the other solo songs from the other SB19 members. I think it would be interesting to react to them one after the other so you can see how different the SB19 members are to each other as individuals which makes it even more amazing how they mesh so well as a group.

Ken is very shy and an introvert but acts quickly to achieve his goals. He has a clothing company called Superior Son (he's the most stylish of all SB19 members) and has released a whole EP called COMPLEX, as well as singles.
Funny story is A’tin demanded Palayo to be released officially after his performance in SB19’s online concert during covid. Everyone was left at awe and wished to be the floor after he dive down coz it was performed with full choreo.
after few weeks The Palayo MV was released. I believe they just shoot this for 2 days or less. Since he was the first member to go solo. The Wish Bus performance was also his first time alone. He was so nervous and we saw remaining members cheering him up on the side especially Pablo. Pablo also recorded his La Luna Wish Bus performance next.
