Much respect to the ALL Blacks, fierce on the field yet humble off it...
Awesome to see our Papa'a/Palagi bro's know the ways of the 'Ava or Kava ceremony well enough to show respect with the way they act.
True lessons for our upcoming younger generations.
Now get on with the GAME!!

Much Love and respect to the All Blacks. I really love how New Zealand has embraced it's multicultural society. It's a beautiful example to the rest of the world. Love from California via SAMOA.

Why does it have to be samoan? This is a Tongan and fijian tradition as well 🤦🏽‍♂️smh

Yes but unlike Fijians and Tongans, this is the only time Samoans actually drink Kava. Only on special occasions like the bestowel of a Matai chief title. In Fiji and Tonga they drink it more frequently lol

For me growing up in Otara, its a given that Samoa. Tonga & Fiji all have a Kava/Ava ceremony... each one different. Good to see a Samoan one today

Fijians and Tongans drink kava like people addicted to beer/alcohol: all the time, every day, and anyplace. Samoans drink ava in special ceremonies, just as you see here. More so, there are enough days of the week for either the Tongans and Fijians to choose from to invite the AB for a kava ceremony.

Shame on the All Black! They say it’s different culture but it’s all in Samoa. The coach Ian Foster only say hello in Samoan, forgetting the other cultures. All ceremony were in Samoan cultures. You should just say,a great introduction to Samoan culture, and that’s fine. But to say it’s for the South Auckland community, you are saying it but excluding the other cultures!Hope you do better next time!

You didn’t watch the full ceremony where it was a mixed of Māori and Samoan. So it wasn’t just Samoan. Stop crying about every little thing.

@@aloha_oe311 So the All Blacks are just made up of Maori and Samoan? How about Fiji,Tonga,Cook Islands,Niuean and even white people from Scotland,Ireland…etc? If it’s just for a certain culture? It’s time to scrap this culture shit if it doesn’t represent everybody

Lmfaooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Fijians and Tongan rugby teams have been having kava ceremonies for centuries it's not new, lol hahaha 😂🤦🏽‍♂️ the social kava clubs in modern times that abuse it, in tongan society only the Tui Tonga and Noble blood would have taumafa kava, only recently commoners drink it, kava is sacred in Tongan custom, it's the foundation of the kingdom of Tonga 🤞

@@gxoxoxo why do Samoans always have to have their feel good moment? And it's in NZ- not Samoa.
The AB's are a NZ team and represent all NZ.
M Jones and E Clarke are trying to do a good thing- and I know they are good people.
But it feels awkward, and I think just let the AB's and rugby do it's own thing. The islanders, including myself, can sort our identity and social justice our own way, in other platforms.
Let the AB's be for everyone!
