Don't want to go down that whole rabbit hole... Overall I don't think euro coins are valuable, only the odd few and have to be mainly UNC.

I have 3 questions:
1) Do you keep all commemoratives you come across?
2) Do you check all definitive designs for low-mintage years (and do you keep them)?
3) Do you compare the coins in your book(s), i.e. your German commemorative book, to your new finds and do you exchange them if the new coins are nicer than those you already have in your book?

1. Nope, I keep some of the harder to find ones for trades, large majority go back to my bank.
2. If some years stand out, i.e. I haven't seen a particular year much, I will check it
3. I don't really worry about it, the odd time if I know a coin is dirty, I will replace it
