I joined a few days back but I'm still waiting for my Rye Field Kursk Tiger I to arrive in the post. A pretty full on kit by all accounts but it's good to know I can hopefully pick up tips from the guys on the FB site. Thanks Adam for the inspiration!
Be careful when you're cutting the small round pieces from the sprue on those Modelkasten tracks. I have a set for the ZSU-23/4 and had them just crush. Switched to my razor saw and it works out better ! Looking forward to this build ..😁
Im waiting for my Dragon 6253 (hopefully not the 2016 rebox I've heard rumors about) and Friulmodel metal tracks. Im not sure if they'll arrive in time until you guys are done with your builds ;)
I have a 1/48 scale Tamiya tiger 1 early and one of the decals fell off, would I still be able to enter the group build? I'll probably cover it up with tracks or something
Mr Mann i have the mk IV B mit snowplough#6764. do you think its possible to use the up armoured parts in blue.Its a semi super kit with seperate rubber wheels and even jerry cans..Im new to dragon,only three built.So am not sure if hull is compatable with blue parts.

My daughters got me that Tiger Kit 6730 for Fathers Day last month & i've just ordered some vallejo model air earlier today. Looking forward to this.

Now I have to get one! Maybe one of Tamiya's 1/48 offerings? I just finished RMF's RM-5001 (my first Tiger 1) and enjoyed it a lot

I just started my tiger1 rfm 5003 kit. I'm an older guy doing my tiger1 with interior. I hope it will be a good looking model.

Daniel Klintholm I have the rebox, it's not all that bad, I paid about $40 (factory sealed) for mine so I would call it a good deal!

I'd join but for personal and especially work reasons I don't do facebook.
