If you're wondering about the poses, Araki the creator is a huge fashion dude (he even made a JoJo's collab with Gucci) so he likes to draw his characters using references from various fashion poses in Vogue and other magazines. It also contributed to how dripped out some characters are in recent parts.

Yeah for sure.
Part 1, 2 and 3 are heavily connected and so are parts 4, 5 and 6.
Parts 7 and 8 are also connected but those two and 6 aren't animated yet.
The manga is old in case the style of the anime didn't give you that Impression😂😂

well, Part 5 is probably the least connected one, but Part 1 is the place where everything starts so everything is heavily connected to Part 1.
as for the others, Part 2 has a stronger connection to parts 3 and 4. Part 3 has a strong connection to 4 and 6. Part 4 is more connected to previous parts.
Parts 7 and 8 are in an alternate universe, so those aren’t really connected to the original 6, but they have alternate versions of characters from the original 6, and they are connected to each other.

@@kakyoin5862 I don't know man, the fact that everything has meaning is kind of a given. You're going to assume everything in an opening means something regardless of whether someone tells you this is the case.
The point is you can't be sure of _what_ anything means exactly without either watching the show or someone explaining it to you. I watched the "bites the dust" variation of DiU multiple times over before ever watching JoJo's at all, and I knew it had to mean something, but I still had no clue what would happen in that arc until after I watched. The closer it was to being a spoiler was hinting at what the main villain's ability was, but even then nowhere near enough to be considered a real spoiler IMO.
Like I can say that the boss's ability in Part 5 has something to do with manipulating time, but that's not a spoiler because without watching the show you'd still have no idea what the specifics of how the ability works are or any of the things that take place in the actual plot. Heck I can say that in Dragon Ball someone destroys the Moon, and I'd argue that's not a spoiler because of the absolute lack of context as to why that happens.

Chase is great. Although it's overshadowed by other "better" ops (Traitors Requiem, Sono Chino Kioku, Bloody Stream etc.)

Chase is top 3 no cap in my opinion.
One thing I think you should know, is this anime/manga is old like super old, before Trigun or Bepop. And you’ll also notice some elements from character designs and settings, that would feel of a video-game. JoJo is truly a masterpiece.

I seen all of Jojos and while Fighting Gold is my fav op, I do think the series as a whole has some of the best ops in anime. Each op has something new to offer, especially the repeat ones that were skipped, but in order for you to have the best reaction to those you just gonna have to watch the anime honestly

To tell you in a way you can understand and to make the least spoilers I can, there are many JoJos, but they are all members of the Joestar bloodline, and each one is a descendant of another member, for example, the first JoJo is the grandfather of the second JoJo, who is the grandfather of the third JoJo, and something like that (not always are grandfathers). They are called JoJo because in their names are 2 "Jo", and they all live their own adventure in their own part, however sometimes characters from previous parts can appear, maybe even previous JoJos. Each JoJo has his own personality, some are funny, others are cool, some are gentlemen and others are mean, but they all shine with a spirit of justice and will fight for what is right.
(Please NEVER skip the openings, even if they are repeated or you have watched them a lot, you never know what will happen or when it will happen)
This honestly seems like my type of show. Not to mention I love the art style. Thank you so much for the explanation. When I start reacting to more full shows this will be up there on the list.
@@Scootx Just to mention, there is not only one art style, it changes every season (Part 1 and 2 are in one single season, so they have the same art style, but since Part 3 art style changes every Part until Part 5, which art style is the same they will use in Part 6)

I apologize for skipping the extra opeinings, it was my initial reaction so I had no info to go off of and I honestly thought it was an editing mistake. Hopefully that doesn't ruin this vid for you . As other comment say Jojo is divided in parts each part occurs in a different time(80's 90's 2000's etc) and each part it's it own story. The main protagonist of each part is always a member of the Joestar Family named Jojo.
Example: Jonathan Joestar(JoJo) or Giorno Giovanna(GioGio)

@@Scootx No, it's really easy 'cause all the character have so much personality, the jojos community have plenty of love for characters that maybe didn't even appear more than 1 or 2 episodes. There are debates of who is the best MC/Jojo. And the majority of the cast has their time to shine.
@@Scootx one part in jojo is still like 4-5x as long as many animes. the manga has been running for like 30 years with monthly chapters coming out rn :) this month is going to end the part we’re on right now

Usually whenever something related to a main villain is revealed in the show something in the opening changes to reflect what's happening in the show is probably the least spoiler filled explanation I can give you of why there are multiple of the same openings.

really enjoy the first 3 parts when your first watching it. you dont get that amazing feeling of connection with the characters especially in part 3 again, every part is truly amazing. i love the vibe of part 3, going on an adventure with the characters, you almost feel like part of their group fighting alongside them, and how badass the action pact fighting is amazing,

All parts have a different mc which makes for a very refreshing story tbh
That is honestly a hard concept to do but based off the fan base I feel as though they may be doing it well

Yeah so usually when the villain comes in there's a change, which is a nice touch and why I love the series. And in a way, the openings sorta reflect the vibe of that specific part which is why it goes from stuff like trumpets for a part set in an older time and electric guitar for a part thats set in a time that's more modern

It’s so much fun seeing peoples reaction when it comes to Jojo openings. It’s so much different compared to other anime openings and the reaction that people have is priceless. When u skipped that opening for the end of the world I was like “ NO DONT” but I don’t blame you.
Being a reasonable person, I always say this to people who want to get into JoJo is that it’s a hit or miss.
some intros are variants of the ones before them because something happens midst the anime that the people find out so they furnish the intro to make a bit more sense

Basically the openings spoil each part without you realizing it until you've watched that part. I love that about JoJo. It's so hard to spoil.
Not all openings are one season if you’re wondering. There is so far 4 seasons and the anime is split into 5 parts. Every time you see new main characters it means it’s a new part. They are all linked in someway and is what allows jjba to be such a long-standing anime and manga.

I know this video kinda old but Jojo's was always 2d animated. The first 4 intros just used the cell shaded 3d look.

Throughout the series the plot follows the joestar bloodline and each part takes place in a different era, ranging from 1880 to the present, so each part has a different protagonist who is somehow related to the og joestar Jonathan (protag of part 1). Some jojos appear in subsequent parts too like joseph and jotaro.

Even though scoot skipped the DIO alternate opening, it's kind of a relief that the Diavolo and the requiem's openings stayed, those are my favourites in terms of visuals.

when there's a repeated opening, the anime has actually made it so that the main villains of the arcs/parts can mess with the opening which i found pretty cool when i found out
how the fuck you notice smokey (black american guy in op 2) who only appears for one frame but you ain't notice avdol (black egyptian guy in ops 3 and 4) who appears multiple times in both openings

The anime itself was never CG, that was exclusive only to the openings.
Sono Chino Sadame, Bloody Storm, Stand Proud and End of the world are all CGI openings (1 - 4.5 OPs) after that different people are animating the openings

Well, a few years later... They did bring the 3D openings back!
The part where the hand fall off is that diavolo time skip and chop off the hand
The first opening is by Hiroaki "TOMMY" Tominaga, the second is by Kazuso "Coda" Oda, and the third is by Jin Hashimoto, and the fourth (which is the same part as the third opening) is all 3 coming together to make the last opening of that story kinda, and also made a group called the JO☆STARS, and each made remixes for the 3 openings they did seperately, songs for the protagonist of the part they made openings for, and 2 songs for part 3 characters, except for Tommy who made a song for part 3 as a whole since one of the protagonists already had a song from them making songs for the part of their opening
Edit: I am bad at punctuation marks and also this is really long, just wanted to say this because I find it interesting and the Anthology songs are underrated

Basically all the center of attentions in the ops are jojo and it is not technically time travel for the last one it’s revert to zero
So currently Jojo's part 1-5 Are animated, part 6 getting an anime this year, and part 7 and 8 are still in manga, and part 8 isnt finished yet, but it will be soon most likely. One thing i will bring up is that Part 7 and 8 are a completely different continuity with references to parts 1-6. They also happen to be the best parts to most fans. Also if you decide to do themes to the main JoJo of each part, while its not official and is a fanmade theme, do Johnny Joestars (Part 7 JoJo) theme also, cause it might aswell be official according to fans
