Thanks for the wonderful trip. The Northumberland tourism office and Kamoot owe you some. I looked up all the places including the Lynemouth Power Station.
What a beautiful run! And bonus dolphins! 🐬 I’m Irish and living in Sydney so I get to run in beautiful places but this makes me want to run in the UK. I definitely didn’t appreciate such beautiful running routes when I was in Ireland.
Great run Freddy, getting the train to Nland and cycling back to Durham is on my to-do list, so was good to see this. Glad you found some new paths and made some discoveries. Have a great time at the next HM. Great content. Always makes me want to get out.
Nice video Freddie - you're looking well :) Check out National Cycle Network Route 72. From Hexham it more or less just follows the Tyne all the way to Tynemouth so it's a pretty gentle grade for about 20 miles or so (apart from a long hill coming out of Corbridge). The only hairy bit the last time I cycled it was dodging the radgies around the edge of Walker 😂
Great video, yet again! I was curious by the building behind you at 20:52. I’m sure all locals know, but I found out it’s Druridge Bay pillbox, built in WW2 to look like a derelict cottage. I love stuff like that.
No marathon planned at the minute (apart from Manchester in 2025). I do have Endure24 at the end of this month though, where I hope to get at least a double marathon.
How oold are you Freddy ?? I am 61 and still going a little strong after what I think is possible for one in my age. I have quite a few issues to deal with. I got osteoporosis and I got a stomi too and its slowing me down when I try to run longer runs but tomorow I will run 7 km and I am so exited and I will run it after the MAF metode.. It will save me from injuri. Inga, DK.
What a great reminder that running is much more than strava / paces / HR / PB's. Simply stunning
Got to put the fun back in to running 😊
Well said mate
Brilliant idea for a workout this Freddy, never thought of just jumping on a train and trekking back - great video and work out
Well worth doing mate, definitely give it a go! 😊
Can confirm, no alpaca yet!
The question is, how many you getting? It would be unfair to just have the one - it would get lonely! 😜

Great work! I love seeing all the footpaths in and around the UK. Something I wish we had more of in the states.
Thanks mate! We’re very lucky here 😊
This route had everything! Good old Komoot 👍🏻🙂 Cracking video and run, Freddy. You're putting in some decent mileage at the moment.
Cheers Mark, trying to build the miles ready for Endure24 next month 😬
Great running great scenery thanks Freddy for bringing us on the journey, happy running
Thank you Mary 😊
Great run Freddy! Looking forward to our plod along on Sunday! 🥳
CAN. NOT. WAIT! 😊
What a lovely, wholesome watch! Jealous of the dolphin spotting though! For all the coastal running we do, we’ve never seen them!!
I’ve been lucky enough to have seen them a few times, this is the first time I thought to actually film it though! 🤣
@@freddyrunsaww lovely! 😊
Nice run mate, nice and chill. Goes with my saying if life is short, running makes it longer. Endure 24 soon!
Totally agree. Yup - only a matter of weeks now 😊

We are very lucky here, once you look up and look around 😊
Excellent video Freddy! I think I have said before that this is my favourite type of run 👍😃
Cheers Davey! Chilled runs are a winner 😊
Might have to try this… get the train away from home and run back 😎
It’s good fun mate and stops you having to just keep doing the same mundane routes 😊

Thanks Craig! Great spot too mate😊
You like the flat land too. Really great. Very impressive route you ran. 30 km long run. when do you run a marathon ?

48 years young 😊
How's your knees ?
Knees are great, never really had any problems with them to be honest 🤷♂️
