I could listen to Sam for days. Love how he always calls movies 'pictures'.
Just like Martin Scorsese
"seeing spiderman no way home was like a full circle moment for me" - Sam raimi 🥲
The backstory behind that really gives weight to those words
No Way Home would've been a way better movie if he did it.
@@virgogaming6488 The Cinematography was the best part in the film rather than the acting in Multiverse of Madness but NWh had better cameos atleast they come on purpose to motivate the main character and for almost a hour but Dr Strange cameos were just awful except Proffesor x bcus he was the only one who can trust strange
@@rakhibisht9324 NWH was a fan service movie and they MCU-ified the other Sony Spider-Men with their lines and characterizations. Sam is nice about the film and how they used his characters but he knows he could've done it better. Marc Webb probably could've done it better too.
@@virgogaming6488 Not really. It's a Jon Watts' trilogy, He did a good job delivering the MCU's version of Spiderman. Lets not discredit his work.
This was the first horror movie in the MCU. It felt original , fresh and just unique and I love the characters and those they introduced into the MCU and I enjoyed every second of it.
I love Sam Raimi's style of film making. Scarlet Witch went on an absolute rampage and I loved every moment of it. The scene with Professor Xavier trying to get in the head of Scarlet Witch to stop her was especially amazing and gave me goosebumps.
Also Bruce Campbell is awesome.
That's what I love about sam rami. He cares about the fans and sticking to real things. As someone who grew up with the sam rami spiderman movies back in the day, I really do hope Spiderman 4 happens. Remember it being canceled back in the day. Remember the early youtube back those many years ago of people thinking carnage was gonna appear.
FINALLY I have been waiting for this press tour. Sam's always wearing the sharpest suits.
He really is a class act, isn’t he?
I love the backstory behind this movie. The DS1 director looked at the script and said, "I can't do this with anything less than an R rating," and so they immediately rang up Sam Raimi.
At least he was supportive of Raimi’s hiring. To add to that, the 2 of them are very close friends. So it all worked out
@@superjackster0165 yes exactly, thats why Scott Derrikson (DS1 Director) is still the producer
DS2 was a lot better direction wise than DS1.
I do feel like that was part of that. Because derrickson did exorcism of Emily rose and that’s a pg-13 and it’s scary. But also I think they had debates on the mordo thing. Because derrickson was setting up mordo as the bad guy for strange 2 at the end of the first one and I guess feige and marvel wanted to pay off Wandavision with making Wanda the villain.
He wanted to make it a straight up horror movie with Nightmare as the villain
he seems so genuine and kind and an actual comics fan
Sam is so awesome. I really hope this movie is a hit and revitalizes his directing career. I really like all of his movies
Same except the wizard of Oz prequel but mainly cuz James Franco’s performance sucked
Brilliant movie Mr. Raimi! A masterpiece and a breath of fresh air for MCU.
This guy is a class act in every interview
Gotta love Sam Raimi. So glad to see him jump back on board to direct another movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now we just need to #MakeRaimiSpiderMan4.
I love Sam Raimi and the way he directed Dr. Strange, it was amazing
This Man Is A Master Of Dark And Horror Thrillers 🔥
You can tell Sam is very happy to working with a studio that doesn’t try to change things just for the sake changing them *cough* venom *cough.* And you tell Raimi’s style is everywhere in Strange 2. I hope they bring him back for other films!
Great movie.. nice to see a Sam Raimi Raimi movie again
Sam Raimi is best director glad he back hope he sticks around in MCU maybe do another doctor strange movie 🙏🙏 👍👏👏⚡❤️💯
This must be the first time that the MCU has a director with a very long career, the other directors are mostly very newbies. And I worry that Raimi had the same problems with Disney that he had with Sony in Spider-Man 3. I don't think the Feige would allow him to do Dr Strange in the same way he did the Spider-Man trilogy.
I feel they tend to go for new up and coming directors since they’re a bit easier to control but that’s maybe too cynical of me
Obviously Rami still got some of his stuff into the movie but the rest is still marvel writing
Internet's Favourite Director Sam raimi.
Everyone loves sam
Sam Raimi:"They love me!"
I admire Sam Raimi so much and i looked up to him because he brought Spider-Man to life in the big screen with Tobey Maguire 🙂. He is a brilliant director .
I liked Doctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness and i thought Raimi did an amazing job directing it 🙂
Spider-Man 4 Better Happen
You're more likely gonna see him do Doc Strange 3 or more original stuff.
Agreed I also want raimi to be the one to introduce black cat into liveaction Marvel movies
It Better Be
We Need Bruce Campbell Play The As Mysterio
Mila Kunis as Silver Sable
Ted Raimi as Hoffman
Brandon Freaser as Scorpion
Jessie Isenberg as Cletus Kasady
@@rianjohannemanaoismanzon7258 and clint eastwood as the ol d guy....
Impressive, his parents must be very proud.
He lives with his aunt and uncle, they are proud.
I feel like Strange 2 allowed Sam to work in his horror style more than than the Spider Man films.
I can already tell Raimi's favorite strange is the zombie defender strange lol
I love this man.
Me agrada ese hombre, espero que haya tenido una buena experiencia trabajando con Marvel-Disney esta vez.
Saw doctor strange and absolutely loved it. Art
Such a visionary person.
I love his movies, my favourite movie is Evil Dead 1980.
Just give this man his full visionnnnn
Such an overused phrase by people that don't understand the industry.
@@memezyyyyyyyyyy So you want more films dictated by studios and producers and less by directors, then?
The Master
I Love u sam raimi u are the best please release your cut of this movie just like we got to see zack snyder’s cut for justice league
Now children are going to have nightmares about scarlet witch lol
Joxer's big brother 🤭 I see the resemblance.
They really didn't do anything with Doctor Strange seeing what his life might have been like if he made different choices.
I thought he was gonna meet like 12 versions of himself and he only met ONE!
And it wasn't clear what that one version did differently!!!
He was holding the darkhold book and that's why the alternate was influenced by "bad magic" and his universe is destroyed by the incursion. How is that not clear for you? And so, in the end of the movie, we see main MCU Dr.Stranger has a third eye. He's already influenced by the Darkhold too after using it to fight Scarlet Witch
man i love sam
Crawl 2?! Whoa! I can't wait!
We love you Sam!
YESSSS SAM RAIMI
i don't care what is the move name if its Sam Raimi i am innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Sam Raimi initially didn't want to direct any future superhero films, having lost faith in himself due to the critical and audience backlash he received from Spider-Man 3 (2007) due to studio interference from Sony. However, getting the call from his agent about this film encouraged him to try again, as he had thoroughly enjoyed the first Doctor Strange film (as well as the character himself) and wanted to see if he could live up to the challenge of meeting the audience's expectations once again.
love him
Hands down my favorite director. Today will be a Sam Raimi today... let's kick it off with dark man
How did I only learn today that Raimi directed this film???
This man is a genius.
YASSS...!!!! Crawl 2's coming!!!!
Maybe not relevant here but the Evil Dead series was pure genius.
Asking about *Crawl 2* ... Ahh, finally a woman of culture, marriage material 😭❤️
Sam raimi, handsome man now
My sister kinda dislikes him as a director because of too much screaming. But, emotions is important part of human behaviour. Most disaster and superhero movies lack that as if seeing a monster is nothing. He tried to make it sound real. So, I respect his style.
Give us Ash vs Evil Dead 4 and Spiderman 4 plzzz
*My Nigggah*
3:04 Bruce Campbell?
What did NWH have to do with MoM?
Sam is handsome man. True???
Daaaamn back all those years before sam even knew tobey was coming and his villians why tf he didnt had tobey in this movie as a comeo man ahh most dissaponiting thing the movie other than that was 10/10
Please be the director of TASM 3 please ? DON'T DO spiderman 4 for both Tom Holland's and Tobey Maguire without doing TASM 3 kindly ?
God 🌹
Love that man
He’s very unassuming
Sam Raimi
They weren’t logical with Wanda’s characterization tbh
Man he has aged 😭😭😭😭😭
I mean…he is 62 now 😭💀
62??? But it doesn’t look doddering or wrinkly
He's looking a little bloated. Love Sam, I really hope this wasn't too stressful a production for him...
from the leaked clips - people know it's going to be bad.. he's cheesy and his films are just too campy and over the top. very early 2000s type of superhero movie, lacking layers.
saw it loved it
You have the brain of a bonobo ape
Is it actually good or bad?
Everything Raimi brought to the film was unique and fun. People seem to forget he came onto the project after it was already in production, script/screen play written ect. Overall it’s a fun movie. You can’t expect much from marvel now of days so what else can you say
I actually loved the movie it was more interesting than the other marvel movies that have been coming out like Eternals and Black Widow
