Great video! I was stuck and unable to open my points in Civil 3D, even though I had the right Point File Format, and was unaware my excel sheet needed to be closed! Massive help, I would have been sitting here forever trying to figure that out. Thank you again,
@@lindamuturi7288 you can use hyphen as negative. If you had already typed the coordinates and you want to introducea negative (-). Place cursor in front of the coordinate and press (-), then press enter. Do not press another cell while the other cell that you are introducing a negative is still active.

Please share how you added negative sign to the coordinates in excel .
I typed it just like any other character in excel. (Start by typing negative sign followed by coordinate)
By negative you mean the hyphen symbol?because I keep doing that but the excel cell with the coordinate is changed into a formula

Did you delete the header/heading row? Did your format in excel match the format that you chose in AutoCAD civil 3d?
@JohnOkelloh I have gotten it.. the PNED(Comma delimited) was in .txt instead of .csv so I had to modify it to .csv in civil3d
@@agunbiadesamuel6810 Did you manage to plot after modifying your points?
