I am a C3 owner, 1972 L48 Classic White exterior, Deluxe Black interior. You put content out on the older models I will definitely watch. Seems like newer generation owners are like iPhone owners. Spend a bunch of money, upgrade it, then wait in line for days to trade it in for the next model year. Older generation owners, we are loyal to our cars. Yes, they take a lot of TLC, but then again it cost less to repair my C3 than a C8. Plus, we can do most of the work, no computers necessary; I know what is going on with my C3 based on my 5 senses. Don't get me wrong, you give me a C8, I'll take it, but I will NEVER trade in or give up my C3. I am in the DFW area, let's talk C3...
I agree its easier & cheaper to fix the old ones but my sweet spot is C6. They had enough tech & still looked like a Corvette but no I can't really work on it.
Wow, wow, wow ! What a great video, and a great bunch of guys with some of the coolest cars, he sounds like me he wants to keep a lot of those cars, especially the old ones, anyway thank you for the video. It was very entertaining and it was put together well. !
Good job sure I am about to lost hop on corvette color thankyour too you u I see Tow now my dream just about come true I love everything about c6 corvettes
Corvettes are certainly as collectible as ANY European brand. This guy sounds like the traditional Vette collector, but you always had to have serious cash to delve into collecting these cars and keeping them in pristine condition.
Doug has a nice Red Convertible, but I would not need the Luggage Rack. I just realized I saw this Video a month or so ago. Uncle Bob’s car is sort of plain, but I really like it! The 61 Fuelie, my neighbors (5 brothers & 2 sisters had eight or nine 61s & 62s and some Mid-Years between the Seven of them and Jeff had a beautiful 57 Chevy and Pat had an early El Camino. I think at least 2 were Fuelies, and they knew what cars to buy. Ed, Bill, Pat, David, Jeff, Paula & Janet all had these Corvettes thru the 60s and 70s. Janet gave her car to one of the boys. Although they all live at different areas of our County, I think most have kept their “Old Corvettes” for all these years. Yep,hard to believe. I’m not sure what happened to Paula’s car. I heard she passed away due to Covid a year or so ago. David passed away in the 80s. (I saw Jeff at Carlisle after just meeting you and Justin. I walked over to speak to him as you might recall.) David went MOPAR and had a 71 Challenger besides his 62 Vette. They had a large barn, a very large barn, that they kept them in….. No Live Stock just Horsepower! Right next door to my parents house. I loved going next door to see the collection. Although, it would have been nice to see the more modern Generations in there, but they were in there pretty tight and the lighting wasn’t that great.
That’s awesome!! I actually like the luggage rack for some reason. Not like I’d ever use it though. I’m not a big fan of Mopar these days but I definitely like some of the 70’s cars.
I like the C-3s your not wasting your time but sometimes you forget to give the asking price for the C-3 corvettes. I want to know your asking price b4 I make the trip to texas
Jimmy Carter wasn't elected president until 1976, so the gas prices in 1970 had nothing to do with him. 1970 was a UAW strike shortened year, the reason for less 1970 model year cars. The 1961 fuelie cars were 275hp & 315hp
Gas prices have very little to do with the president as it is… Not sure why this is some false misconception that everyone thinks is true just so they can push some weird narrative…. It sincerely does not take a rocket scientist to understand that the PRESIDENT HIMSELF DOES NOT CONTROL GAS PRICES
Watching Doug is like watching an amazing docuseries. We need way more Doug on video!
Agreed. His stories are really entertaining.
Agreed!
Thanks for the great video.
Thanks for watching! 🙏
oh my gosh. i love the 70/stingray!
Agreed. Very nice.

Absolutely!!! The C3 is my first love from Corvette. Do you have Instagram?
Or Facebook?
I agree its easier & cheaper to fix the old ones but my sweet spot is C6. They had enough tech & still looked like a Corvette but no I can't really work on it.
We need to take out the Red C3 for a video. Make it happen!
🔥 I’ll try!
Wow, wow, wow !

Thank you, Johannes! I’m looking forward to doing some special videos with some of the previous generations.

Another great video with Corvette Warehouse! When are you taking me there? I need my OWN Vette.
You do baby. Maybe a nice C6.
Corvettes are certainly as collectible as ANY European brand. This guy sounds like the traditional Vette collector, but you always had to have serious cash to delve into collecting these cars and keeping them in pristine condition.
Agreed and it’s outside my budget. 😄
The beauty of Corvettes is seen here, for about 25k$ anyone can own a shiny American sports car that's A piece of history.
Doug seems real cool and informative. Will Give Corvette Warehouse a look in the Future....😊
I agree 100%. This isn’t just a business for him. He really loves Corvettes.
I hope you visit there again. I REALLY LIKE the 40th anniversary convertible.
Definitely plan to do much more with Corvette Warehouse. Great group there and a lot of variety.
Jason

Highest mileage Corvette I have ever had was 29,000. But, I did have a 1978 Z28 with over 300k on it.
Man. A 78 Z28. Nice!
@@FrontSeatDriver Have I not shown you pictures of it?
‘94 had 168k on it when I sold it. 383 at 110k, stage 5 intake, heads, etc at 130k
Nice!!!
awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
“Gas Iran Contra thing” in 1970? Beautiful car though, gorgeous color!

Thanks, Tommy!!
one owner black c2 Corvette conv. had 600k miles guy bought new
That is crazy!!! Wow.
There's a car at the museum that has over 700k I heard
That’s crazy!! I’m impressed!
Not a single C4 that I could see on the floor. Sad
They had one but it sold. They’re hard to sell I think because of financing due to age. I think…
Inventory yuge. No buyers
lol. Fortunately you’re wrong. They sell 40 plus per month.
There's C5 are way overpriced there
