You're welcome! The Fostech is a beast for sure. It's too bad they won't work with my AR10s. I saw your question about the Foxtrot Mike bcg. You know, it might actually work. The bottom of the bcg looks fairly standard on the back half which is what is actually doing the work for the trigger. I'd call Fostech and ask.
I've got a Fostech Echo in my otherwise completely stock Radical Firearms AR-15. Here's an interesting tidbit. The trigger lock doesn't work with the stock bolt carrier group. At least, not in my particular gun. I was told I'd need another bolt carrier made for like an M4 or something, because of the way the bottom grove is cut. There's not enough material there to activate the trigger lock lever when the bolt resets. You can, however, install the Fostech Echo without the trigger lock lever. And it'll work, however it's easy to outrun it. I've done it a couple times. So it's entirely possible to outrun a Fostech. It just depends on your particular gun and what you have in it.
I'm hoping you have looked into this matter since you posted this comment, but just in case you havent: Thats not surprising you outran it, seeing as you improperly installed it? Shit does tend to malfunction when you do that. Yes, the Echo requires an M16 (otherwise referred to as full auto) BCG to run properly. That should have been pretty clear in the advertising for the trigger. Unless perhaps you bought it second hand and didn't have any of the paperwork or anything, which could lead to the confusion, but I digress. Not sure if you don't know this or not, so I'm gonna throw this out there in case: the locking lever is put there to ensure you don't have out of battery detonations, which could destroy the gun and potentially kill you. So the smart thing to do would be to just spend the money on a good quality full auto BCG and then install the trigger properly. Also highly recommend checking out Trigger Depot's website for some aftermarket goodies for that particular trigger.
@@lifeliberty9235 I haven't had anymore malfunctions since posting this comment interestingly. I think it was just where it was new and hadn't been broken in yet. It functions a lot better now that I've put a couple thousand rounds through it.
