    ROMANS 1:
3 the gospel concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh 4 and was declared to be Son of God with power according to the spirit[b] of holiness by resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,
5 through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for the sake of his name, 6 including yourselves who are called to belong to Jesus Christ,
7 To all God’s beloved in Rome, who are called to be saints:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

As a Baptist, I am so grateful for Catholic brothers and sisters like you! To paraphrase a priest I admire, "May we find our way to full Communion as the Holy Spirit leads us." Thank you for posting this!

No satan is leading you to unity in the world council of churches not the holy spirit....
You aren't coming into Christian unity....you are coming under the leadership of satan

Where in the letter to the Corinthians
Did Clement say he had all authority?
    Or papal Authority?
    Thx

Not trying to be difficult but your "first century house church" is a a Mythraic initiation temple. This is where initiates to the god Mythra,
    partook of hallucinogens for initiations.

Clement certainly would not thought of the Tanach- Jewish Scripture as the "Old Testament". There was no "New Testament" at the time Clement wrote the letter.

      @@torceridaho What are you serious?
Didn't you ever read Clement 1 in your life?
He wrote an epistle to Corinthians and at that time he was the bishop of Rome..
      He had quoted many verses from Luke 6:36-38, Luke 17:1-2, from Hebrew epistle 11:5, Hebrew 1:3, 1 Corinthians 15:20, I Corinthians 2:9, 1 Corinthians 13:4, 1 Corinthians 12:12, Romans 1:32, Titus 3:1, and Titus 2:14, James 2:21-22, 2 Peter 2:5....
Order a Kindle book "Clement of Rome", it just cost 1 dollar only ..
Even Bart Ehrman and other scholars accept it as an authentic epistle..
I didn't quote any verses from 2 Epistle..
Read Ignatius's epistle, Ignatius of Antioch, became bishop on AD 66, just after 4 years of Paul and Peter martyrdom ...
He quoted many verses from new testament including from John's gospel, he was a disciple of Apostle John..
And read Polycarp's epistle, he was also a disciples of John quoted many verses from new testament...

Such a shame you angle your presentation to dealing with concerns connected to protestant than to say - atheist or moslem

Hi Antony. This video was recorded as part of a course for graduate students enrolled in the Catholic Distance University. I'm grateful that the University was so generous as to make this and some other of the course videos available for free to you and anyone interested in the subject.

Why? Just as much off the rails and yet, with a little effort on his part and common sense on yours...
