I like the hex heads a lot. The only area a judo wins is not ending up under debris and the grass. Would be cool to see them come out in more weights though.
Appreciate it! Currently I’m drawing 29.5-29.75. Bow is 54@29. So I’m probably in the 55-56 territory for draw weight. As far as shooting heavier draw weight, I’d be more then happy to put a video together on the how. In reality though, I haven’t done anything really special. I’ve been shooting a traditional bow since I was 2, moved up in draw weight early on. Im pretty much consistently in the 54-56 range. I find if you give a heavier bow a half a month to a month normally the weight begins to feel normal. The key is not to overshoot and keep your form consistent from weight to weight to the best of your ability.
How many pounds is your bow, looks like your fighting it a bit when you draw back. Ok 55 pound bow, I just heard you say. Did I miss it, what stump heads are you using ?
54@29 and I draw a bit over 30. So more or less in the 56-57# range. I enjoy having the weight there myself. I also find that I have the same level of shakes if you will with any weight bow. Not sure what it is, but just keeping tension for me causes it, not matter how solid full draw feels. As far as stumping head, I typically use a judo adapted to 200 grains with the 75 grain steel adapter. Or an ace hex head.
I don’t personally. I know it would clean stuff up on my end some. It just takes some away from the overall experience for me so I take the slightly less then perfect form by stride and run with it.
Lol 😂 there’s a few simple fixes. I’ve always anchored there. Need to stop turning my head into my anchor and just anchor. Takes some mental fortitude to make sure I do it right lol 😂
Those hex heads are the best. They'll mess up a squirrel and you can get them real heavy

Great vid, love your widow 👍🏻, gave you a sub. Good luck this year
Nice shooting! Those axis arrows sure can take a beating too.
I’ve been shooting them since the beginning of 2019. Every time I try something else I’m right back to them. Well worth the price.
What pound does your bow pull at your draw length and could you maybe make a video with tips on shooting a heavier pound bow? Love the video!!!

nice shooting. do you use any sort of clicker just curious?

@@SchaferMagnant That hold on a heavy bow like that is really impressive without a clicker. Good work.
Find a different spot on your face for your anchor 😂simple fix
