    Struggle makes people strong, resourceful and driven. That story touches home for me. Totally get it. And my sons have learned to be the same. I can negotiate like a champ and land on my feet. And people say how do you do that? Because I have had too. Survival! I give you and your family all the respect. You made it successfully. Thanks for sharing.

    I totally admire your humility in sharing this part of your business. I'm a 48 yo single mother of three and I am the only example my children have of determination to succeed. I've always been passionate about this business but always saw it as a distant possibility... I am super scared but failure is no longer an option.

    Thank you for sharing your story. I think everyone struggles with something in their lives. Weather it is money or a tragedy. Myself and my husband, 24 years ago, we had a tragedy and a miracle. We persevered, and it made us who we are today, Married 27 years. Most of all...very blessed as well ♥️♥️

    Thanks Habib and Tracy! The YN story is applicable to many of our lives, nail careers or not. I personally still strive to become a nail tech one day but right now I’m a medical tech who is trying to become a teacher first. And money and debt is a big issue in my life. My personal debt is low, but not so low I can’t pay it off. Student loans are another story. Anyway, I see a future for myself and it’s bright, but the present feels bleak. I’m excited to move past my mistakes and have a bright future! Congrats on your continued success.

    No Only Struggle But Also Failing is Something Good Because Shows What Not To Do. What Doesn’t Works . Fail Gives Wisdom, Of Corse Only If You Learn From Every Fail You Go Through . We Can’t Expect Different Results Doing The Same Thing.

Hearing what you say & looking at what I’ve dealt with, I can see I’m on the right track. It’s been so much harder for me cz my husband is military so we move around & it’s been difficult to keep a steady business but it’s definitely something I think Is helping me grow not only as a tech but a business woman. I am very happy you guys made it & are successful! I love your brand & have almost completely switched out all my products to YN.

    Thank you to you Habib and the youngnails family to share this story with us. We need that type of talks with truths and "motivation hype ". Through these examples we can see and move forward...the first reflex we have can be to say " omg I cannot deal with this....."...but with your testimony it's and will be easier to deal with them. I talk a lot but just thank you, really!😂💜😚

    Oh boy have I slept on this video's topic and story. It is going to be hard to express how I feel because there are aspects of this video that is just not absorbing. I do understand struggle. Like so many people, I get it. Oh boy do I get it. I also "get" that the story was shared and came from a place of honesty, love and respect. You KNOW I loves ya...ALL of ya. You're Mom is just...amazing and it has always been clear that she has always had a very keen sense of "what has to be done". What I don't understand is why my stomach did a back flip when your Mom said "come get me, I have nothing".....to a Las Vegas Casino loaner! Personally, anyone who DOESN'T admire your Mom for saying THAT to a place that is probably....questionably run (let's be honest...Casino right? who HASN'T seen movies about this stuff), well, it kinda blew my mind. I was sitting here saying out loud "oh no honey...no". Just typing this is making my tummy churn. I know it is in the past and those struggles were conquered (hence the subject matter and point of the story)....Oh God...can you get what I am trying to say Habib? It is really hard for me to really express this as I don't understand it myself, except that it scared the living daylights out of me :(

    Wow love t video. I had a similar history w my family in Vegas. We used credit cards to get cash and come back to Brazil. Every month had to travel to pay back n get more cash. Cross customs full of money. Than the business brake down. I was just a kid and didn’t understand at the time. But now I do and even though don’t agree have two Or more different security numbers. I’m thankful for all t travelling and experiences we had on the 90’s. Cheers

    I dont get a lot of clients or walk ins asking for dip nails, however I do get a little, and I didnt see the point. But I feel like this video was a sign but I dont know where to start with dip. You guys have so many colors! Other than getting a start kit, how many colors do you think someone should have when adding this to their service list?

    • @youngnailsinc
      @youngnailsinc  5 лет назад

      Probably start with somewhere between 5-10 colors and see how your clients respond. The wonderful thing about our system is you can use it in so many different ways

    Thank you so much for sharing your story. It's really inspiring! I am license Nail Technician and have been for a few years now and I can relate to this. The struggle is definitely real for me also. I am still struggling to build a study clientele for one because my speeds aren't the greatest this salon I'm currently working in don't get much foot traffic I am almost depleting my accounts just to stay afloat and trying to make it in this industry but I don't want to quit because I believe in myself and I believe that I can make it! And be a great nail Technician Do you have any suggestions on how I can build a steady clientele? I am getting to the point where I'm getting frustrated I'm thinking about moving and finding a different shop to work out of I like the shop where I currently work at the ladies are nice the owner she's nice but they don't get much business!! Watching this video has given me hope that things will get better!! Again thank you to you and Tracy!😊

      Honey, move. I moved from home to a salon and I don't regret it. The goal is to make money, and if you're not move. Also work on yourself. Practice use Swatch sticks practice practice practice. I find that I'm quicker with liquid acrylic so I ditched dip system. I'm now working on sculpture because tips take forever. I am actually good at sculpture I've done half a dozen clients as a test and now all my clients want it. Practice. Use your hand to practice. Find a model or two.

    I am getting to the running out of funds stage as I just can't get a steady speed doing nails to add enough clients to my day to earn money. My struggle is do I go back to work full time but then would probably have to turn clients away on those days or evenings. I have done lots of extra costly classes to try and get speed up. I think I need a young nails sample pack lol gel is a struggle. Fuzion is the best so far. Oh yes... The struggle is real

      Do you have a practice hand or anything (there are much cheaper ways to get around it than buying a hand) you can use to practice on? I know what it’s like to run out of friends & family to practice on! I’d just practice, practice, practice. You will get faster.
