Rickys laughs in the background are the best
This is the best because it plays to Karl's long experience as an editor, his job before the radio show & what he won a bronze at the Sonys
Now who's the weakest link 😂😂😂
you're wrong. he won a silver.
This was actually his most brilliant idea and it flowed well
One flew over the cuckoo's nest was a great edit. 😂
the best thing about this is Ricky's laugh when it's implied the infamous Dave Hill from Slade haircut made Karl go temporarily gay LMAO
I'd pay good money to see the behind scenes of karl making these!!
Karl is the best prosecutor ever, he talks total nonsense until the defendant collapses and admits to their crimes
Who's brass?
14:37 Garlic bread!
I honestly think this was so underrated.. It's actually brilliant.
Oh this was absolutely his best feature. Rockbusters and Monkey News were funny because they were crap. This is so well done, he put so much work into it.
@@FranMSK I'd almost agree. His diary was amazing though and Steve brought it to life. Never really got into monkey news to be honest.
Definitely, a one trick pony but what an ass!
It's even funnier when you can hear Ricky's muffled cackling in the background 😂
Should have been made into some sort of series for sure.. comedy gold 😂😂
One of Karl’s most creative ideas and flawlessly executed. Borderline genius
"Anyway, get yer knickers off."
"Garlic bread"
FIFA HARAMBE please explain why this is so funny? I get the "Jammin'" thing...but what does Garlic Bread mean? And why does it make me laugh so damn much, when I've no idea what it means?!😂
It's from a Peter Kay joke. He is Karls favourite comedian :)
FIFA HARAMBE No, I get that. But why in that particular clip, at that time?
Hilary Robman - Karl uses a Peter Kay joke "Jammin" and when Scrooge is laughing Karl continues with Kay's catchphrase "Garlic Bread". The only reason/relevance to the scene is Karl already used Kay so he used him again.
And if you're asking "Why use Kay's jokes in the first place" well...Scrooge was laughing, so Karl had to make him laugh lol
Joshua Bellis Thank you! Finally an explanation 😊
1. The Graduate (1967) 0:01

5. Pulp Fiction (1994) 9:46
6. Scrooge (1951) 12:05
7. Planet Of The Apes (2001) 14:44
8. The Silence Of The Lambs (1991) 17:44

13. Billy Elliot (2000) 29:07
Legend
Fantastic feature honestly, Ricky's laugher in the back is the cherry on top. Karl is far more creative than I think even he gives himself credit for
Karl really put some effort into this feature :)
I literally could never come up with dialogue to fit myself into films like Karl does. This is brilliant.
Ricky losing his shit in the background at 2:12 will never not be funny 😂
I have to be honest, these are about 200% better when you can hear Ricky cackling in the background.
Just want to take a second to applaud Karl's editing skills here.
Anybody who has done sound mixing like this knows how difficult it can be and going by the tech he was working with, the reverbs he has played around with are fantastic as well as overlaying it with an atmos track to make it smoother. Its pretty long work and can totally understand why Karl needed Mondays off as this would take a whole day and that's not including the creative process of writing the script and adding the humour. Karl is a genius. Also if you listen to the old XFM, the voice on the advert that says' XFM' before every add is Karl's voice with effects.
“Got to chapter 1 before I realised”.
The Kes one will always be the best because of Ricky pissing himself in the background
I Shot Marvin In The Face So does Harry met Sally and Scrooge, but I agree.
"Squoze"
"How do you spell that?!"
I agree...and how Karl actually fitted it together xD
"Swivel, right that down"
This is the best thing Karl ever did - pure gold, and Ricky laughing in the back just makes it 10x funnier!
Garlic bread
The best deadpan comedians are the ones who don't even realize they're funny.
Ricky's laugh during Harry met Barry... in stiches 😂😂😂😂😂😂
He is a genius and he doesn't even know it. Iv laughed more with dilkinton than any other comedian. It's a shame the old gang wont get back together again. Ricky says it wouldn't work, but you dont know until you try.
Maybe one day again when they're all older. They need to live a bit to have things to talk about.
You just need Karl and Steve, you don't need Ricky...he's too mean to Karl and too egotistical with his very disturbing hyena laugh.....sick of it !!!
@ITILII karl and Steve always get into arguments. But ricky r didnt help tho😅
Karl is a real British treasure especially in combination with Steve & Ricki
23:18
On Saturday he did it again, he squoze me head
How do you spell that?
AHAAAAA
Squoze? S Q
Alright do you wanna show us on the board? This is a new word to me
AHAHAH
'What do you mean it's not a problem look at the state of her hair'
You can hear Ricky lugging in background so funny this will never ever been redone which is sad
This was always my favorite. I don't know how rockbusters got more spotlight then this
He's so candid in his responses that its actually compelling to listen to in a funny way
"are you afraid of me? ;)"
"eeehhhhh?"
"Ehhhhh, no, no. I've seen weirder things than you"
Oh well done, I fucking love these. They should have done more. Love the fact they left the mics open a bit. SQUOZE HOW DO SPELL THAT?
Kes one is complete genius. All are great
Squoze
How do you spell that? 😂
Swivel. Write that on the board too.
“Goldfish have better memories than people think” 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂☯️🙌🏼🐒
@12:23
"I'll probably do some more shopping on Monday 'cause it's me day off innit?"
"Yes I know it is, you don't have to tell me."
That bit fits so perfectly lmao
He's so casual that it's compelling
14:37 😄😄😄😄
Garlic bread 😂😂
7:42 Rick trying to stuff back his laughter
"you haven't seen my village people album lying about have you?" hahahahahaha...this shows he actually does have self awareness, maybe he is an actor called Graham
Karl likes acting alongside Jack Nicholson
This is one of the best podcasts of Karl, I always said that they should put all his "movies" ones together lol and yh, they're good
mmm funnier is if Karl was rain man and not tom cruise lol UH OH UH OH UH OH the pic i mean
At 14:32 when Karl tells Scrooge that joke about Bob Marley liking the donuts with jammin, absolutely brilliant....innit ? Doyaknowwhatimean ? Karl has crafted a masterpiece, so don't be 'avin a go at 'im.......sick of it !!!
"Gaarlic bread!"
"Garlic bread"
There's an episode (can't remember which one) wherein Ricky discusses an article from the Guardian which speculated that Karl was a character Ricky and Steve had written and that Karl himself was an actor. Even discounting his upcoming series on Sky, listening back to these, it's easy to see why somebody might get that impression! Seriously great editing and acting work from Karl!
@@DeZ556 yeah, what you said.
It was Graham. Graham's claims really got to Karl.
Swivels
"You haven't seen my Village People album lying about have ya? I'M JOKING!"
WHAT IS THIS HAHAHAHAHA
It was a feature on the old XFM shows.
The best feature from the xfm shows !
SUZANNNE
The shining one is brilliant 😂
Just downloaded all the xfm shows they did. Makes work a lot easier listening to them. Hilarious.
Dick Scruttocks where'd you get them bro I need them too
Rusty Shackleforth www.wherewhywhen.com/xfm-the-ricky-gervais-show-seasons-1-4-complete/
Just scroll down at click on each link and it should download.
@@rustyshackleforth763 They're available on youtube now. Just search XFM ricky gervais show. 4 seasons, some specials, NME test show, 3 series of podcasts, holiday podcasts, and then the Guide to series, and more. So much RSK.
Just imagine if Karl played the Doctor 😄
The scrooge one is utter perfection, I havent laughed that hard in ages. Karl pilkington is a genius. 😂
The Pulp Fiction was is pretty brilliant. He had to really cut that movie up.
What always strikes me about this feature is how naturalistically Karl delivers his lines. None of it feels forced or scripted at all. Granted it's likely made easier given Karl essentially plays himself in them all, but it's still pretty impressive.
Probably why Karl managed to bag a few acting roles for TV. N'that.
Alright.
I’ve got wood...
I've got metal ones as well
The folks who did The Ricky Gervais Show, should animate these.
"He likes the one with Jam in"
These animations are like Lowry paintings.... "You see something different every time"
I would watch a complete series of just this. 20 minute episodes, 10 episodes a season, 27 seasons. Sold, to me, the highest bidder.
The Best 👌
This is easily the best feature of the show. Unfortunately Ricky and Steve realized that Karl actually did very well here so they couldn't poke him with the stick on this one, unlike Cheapest Chimps or Rockbusters 😅
He's a good little kid 😂😂😂
he's a proper actor now
18:00 oh shit, it's a manmoth!
great thanks !...was hoping someone would collect these together :-)
The Shining Staring KP:
Karl: Weird innit Weird innit Weird innit
“I’ll tell ya… I got wood”
The Silence of the Lambs bit is class
19:59 gold
looks like " out of SLADE"
When you can hear Ricky in the background laughing 😂😂😂
"What do you mean there's not a problem? Look at the state of her hair!"
Wayne, sleep?
Why is there a butt plug in the shadow of the wall lights . 😂😂😂😂
This is so funny lmaoooo
“Dun’ it Tom?” Ffs loool
The shadowing of the candle lights have got wood too.
I have webbed fingers
How big is your head?
Wait at what point does Karl say "I see weird stuff"
I wish for more of this
25:10 has got to be the best one. It just fits so well
So fucking good.
fantastic!
What’s the first film?
The graduate
29:50 OH YOU SHUT UP!!! 😄😄😄😄😄🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kes was brilliant!
Alright
What’s the second film please?
Harry met Sally
I'll have what Karl's having
"I read a book like that once"... "Garlic bread!" 😂😂😂
