how did you do it? what's the setting? i keep getting error trying to run the game
What about stats? FPS, cpu %, ram % etc…?
at about 5mins in i put the stats on the screen but you cant see it that well. FPS was around 30 and temp was sitting at 60. cant remember ram and cpu % off the top of my head but will check when i get home
I’ve done a lot of research and it just doesn’t run it on the deck

Thanks for the video! Question. Did you run into issues trying to connect to the tarkov website to download the launcher? I cant get around a connectivity issue to their site that I only get on my rog
I didnt run into any problems like that so cant be of much help mate sorry!
Maybe look into your firewall/ anti virus? Could be blocking the page
Would you recommend getting a Rog ally if you already have a steam deck?
Personally id sell or trade the steam deck for an ally

Iv seen a few people have this problem but i didnt so cant be much help mate sorry. Maybe try checking firewall or anyi virus isnt blocking it

How is it running worse than pubg and elden ring? tarkov is an old game and the graphics aren't great. My pc has gtx 1060 and it runs tarkov fine, but pubg runs sort of badly.
Tarkov is just very badly optimised and still has problems with memory leaks etc as far as I know

How did you setup the controlls?
just set up the keybinds to try match the controls for cod on xbox mate, still got a lot to figure out but can mess about with it as i play! when im comfortable with the keybinds i can go over them in another video
Brooo scav raids while at work/uni game changing I want it real bad now but is 30fps enjoyable on this ? Or does it feel horrible like 30fps on pc

my friend is playing on his ally, it runs fine once hes in but loading into the game takes a long time, he gets stuck on the loading loot screen, do you have any kind of fix for this? thanks for any help!
Hi mate, it does take longer than on pc for sure. He could try lower some of his settings that might help a bit! I personally dont play streets as it takes a lifetime😭
thanks for the reply friend! and we are getting to that conclusion as well, it just takes to long, no matter what he does, lol hes out of state so his only option to play is from the rogue, so i guess we will skip streets and stick to customs while hes away, thnaks for the help my friend, have a good one.@@purplevenomr

What settings did you put it on and was it on wifi ?
settings in the game or on the device? was on wifi yeah, runs really well on wifi alone
@@purplevenomr both the game and device to have the game run smooth also what mapping did you put for The controller ?
@@timothyshoales3997 i didnt change any setting on the device but i keep it plugged in so it runs in turbo mode, for the in game settings i havent changed anything yet and im getting 30fps
will probably have a play around and see if i can get more then will make another video on it
im also still playing around with the button mapping but will make a video this week on what my keybinds are so watch out for that one 👍🏼

Think mouse and keyboard would be more appropriate for that game, u need precision with this. Clunkyness of joysticks isnt par with this😆
very true but its great for scav runs early wipe when you arent near the pc! plus you can bluetooth mouse and keyboard if you wanted to its great!

Those are on my list! DayZ should be easier as it has controller support but star citizen would be interesting to see how well it runs! thanks!
Do some test on the steam deck! It is simply a lot more popular than the rog handheld
i dont think you can actually get into a raid because the anti cheat stops you on the steam deck
@@purplevenomr You can still install the windows package tho, and many were able to run Tarkov on it. But none of them did a review about it.

Looting looks PAINFULLY slow
Its tricky with the thumbsticks but i hve a wireless mouse and keyboard for it now, its perfect
