@@fallback8314 Basically, Tate ran out of time after having tapped out in the "first overtime" segment. Bea got Miesha to tap out, so Tate had to get Bea to submit in less time than Tate had submitted to Mesquita because it was OT. It wasn't a sudden-death OT.

Exactly... Misha Tate great fighter, however last time she was a top level top dog in fighting/ MMA was 2015ish, by 2016 she was already being forgotten about... At this point, she just eye candy, NOT some top level serious fighter

I believe it will be the new Nunes. As for Meisha, she gets kicked in the face a lot because her boxing is so bad. Against Kedzie, she took 3 kicks to the face and won the fight, I don't even know how.

That was for a while some of the most intimate over the clothes making ever filmed before a live audience. Then it turned into death by snu snu before finally looking like they were in a fight for the last few mins.
The first 2-3 minutes at half speed you can see what was really going on here lol

@@joesphruggiero3707 Not saying she wouldn't do well, I'm just interested in how that would play out. We always see MMA fighters going into boxing or just pure grappling events, but seldom do the other athletes jump into MMA to see how it goes.
As soon as Bia went on top of Miesha, I knew it was a wrap. I'm now a fan of this Bia chick but I'd love to see her against Mackenzie Dern.

Is this an only grappling thing the UFC does?
I'm old school, as a caveat, but Miesha could have thrown strikes to her opponent early on in the top control if this had been MMA and would have won. Unfortunately, Miesha is withdrawing to wrestling/grappling exclusivity, away from her MMA bread and butter.
Being able to throw strikes doesn't mean in the slightest this would have been over, and beside Bia had top control for most of the match

(In my creepiest Quagmire voice) Obviously the view is pretty good all the way around.
That aside, as 2 stripe white belt, high level women's grappling is almost a different sport. Even with lighter male competitors I've found their speed lacking. The display of techniques in rapid succession is a sight to behold. I hope to roll w/ a solid female purple or brown belt someday.
