There was a little shack near Escondido called Baltimore Snowball that had the BEST shaved ice. My favorite was The Elvis because it was chocolate ice cream on the bottom, caramel and chocolate ice, and on top it was drizzled with chocolate and peanut butter syrup!! THE BEST!!!! Then they shut down during Covid and I’ll never taste one again 😭

Small towns usually creep me out but it seems so peaceful there. So much history preserved everywhere. Sadness for the closing of businesses due to covid. Joy from remembering fun *early* childhood memories. Nostalgia - visiting the wal-mart where you learned to drive. So relatable. The goat milk place was cute! I like to write in graveyards (usually at a relative's plot) and have a picnic because they tend to be quiet peaceful places and the one you showed was pretty. The church singing was adorable. You're crazy talented: can sing and act - AND happens to be beautiful, charming, humble, intelligent, funny, kind, youthful and in shape. Girl if I had all thiose gifts at my disposal I'd....(probably be a narcissist) LOL. So kudos to you for carrying your gifts with confidence and still being sweet and down-to-earth. Also Maddox is always, always a vibe. & Delta bathroom dancing is a mood.
Nothing turns around a rough day like some top notch Michaela content! That was so cool to see where you had your (young) childhood, and getting to see your family; I hope you had a lovely time with them! Your Chessie outfit was on point, and it's just really awesome to see how cool you are as a person, living life to the fullest and enjoying every minute of it.

Now your accent makes sense! I traveled to Bedford Indiana for the eclipse in April and I thought Indiana was really nice. Lots of green like North Carolina ^_^ But country life can definitely be lonely and isolating. Thank God for the internet now (famous last words). Also I feel you on high school in the sticks. I would have gotten in a lot more trouble in high school if I hadn't gone to a harder school with AP classes my last two years.
