It is your right to speak in tongues for personal edification.
***First things first, are you a Believer? Have you given allegiance to Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour redeemer? If yes? The gift of tongues comes with the baptism of the Holy Spirit after above.
Next you must open your mouth release your tongues in FAITH, believing that the Holy Spirit will fill it up with words utterances Roman's 8:26 ICorintians 14:2-4, Jude vs 20, Isaiah 28:11-12.
Free yourself from all past dogmas,, wrong doctrines about tongues.
Also try and get this free e book online by Dave Robertson on tongues "Walk of the spirit walk of power " It's a classic on tongues. It helped me and will help you too by Gods grace . God is not partial, he says if we draw near him he will draw near us. As long as King Uzziah sought God,, God made him to prosper. You don't need anybody to pray you into his gifts. He sees your heart, your desire.. He says we should earnestly desire the gifts and this is what you are doing. I am suspecting you are being held back by wrong doctrines filthiness of the Spirit. It is a gift, a gift. Stop thinking you have to be perfect to exercise your gift of tongues, it comes with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Rather it is by praying in tongues that we attain perfection, transformation. Mortification process takes place,, our weaknesses our infirmities strongholds takes off ,gives way.
****Finally, once again. It is not magic. Don't leave everything to Holy Ghost.. You must open your mouth yourself, then release your tongue like when you speak in your language of understanding . Out of your belle shall then flow the Rivers of living waters.

Amen. This is a point that many cessastionist miss. They discount the edification of the spirit through the praying in tongues. he who prays in the spirit edifies himself 1 Corinthians 14:4. Everyone is so focused with people praying out of order in public that they forget the edification part. Along the same lines you need to be careful which spirit is speaking...there is no such thing as tithing in the new testament modern day church, that is an old testament teaching and it was never money it was grain and animals or land. Stop giving your money to preachers, the gospel is free.
I SHOULD ASK FOR LIGHT INTO THAT ISSUE .THE REVEALER OF THE SECRETS WILL GIVE YOU THE STRATEGY AS YOU ENGAGE YOURSELF IN PRAYING IN SPIRIT GOD WILL BRING LIGHT SUDDENLY. AMEN.

You have the gift. You can speak with tongues
Mark 16:15-17. This signs shall follow those who believe what?
Mark 16:15. Who believe the Gospel.
One of the signs is speaking with new tongues.
Acts 10. This is the story of Peter and a Centurion. First I want to know that this centurion was a gentile and the gospel was preached to him and his household by Peter.
Act 10:44. While Peter yet spoke this word the holyghost came upon all who believed and what was the evidence, they spoke with tongues, and not just that, they gave interpretation.
How do we know they gave interpretation? The answer is right there, it say they ( Peter and the brethren that followed him) heard them magnify God.
Note: everyone prayed with tongues.
Acts 2. This is a popular story and I won't like to go deep. One thing I want you to look at is the holyghost came upon all of them like cloven tongue of fire, and they all prayed with tongues. ALL OF THEM. And they gave interpretation. How? The answer is there
Acts 2:11 they declared the wonderful works of God.
I also want to let you know that tongues is not another man's language like Chinese or Yoruba.
1 Corinthians 14:2. No man understand tongues, but it is mystery in the spirit
Now the book of Corinthians was written to the church in Corinth to rectify a lot of issues and misunderstanding and all. Chapter 14 of this book talked expressly on the gift of speaking with tongues.
14:18. This was a church, and it says he speaks in tongues more than all of them, meaning in that church, they all spoke with tongues.
14:26 everyone can speak with tongues in a gathering
14:39 Paul instructed that they were never to disrupt the flowwof the spirit.
I4:5a. Paul wanted them to speak with tongues.
All you have to to is to believe
Mark 16:15 as long as you believe, you are qualified to speak with tongues.
Act 19:1-6. All believers speak with tongues.
Repeat this to yourself
I can speak with tongues
The holyghost dwells in me
I can pray in the holyghost
I am given utterance
Glory to God.

Sorry but I don’t get all of this talk about spiritual power, answers to prayer, miracles, etc, from speaking in tongues. I have been able to pray in tongues since 1990, but have never experienced anything other than being able to pray in tongues when I run out of things to say. It helps in that way, that’s about it.
This sermon should reassure you that there's more.
Ask God for the gift to interpret tongues.
You need to do it for long periods, 4hours upwards.
Revelation is progressive.
I wonder... How is it that you have been able to speak in tongues since so long ago but have not had a real encounter with God? There is no way that a true believer in Jesus Christ, who receives the gift of praying in tongues would not have had a life changing encounter with The Holy Spirit.
@@agoogleuser2582 yeah…. I wonder that too. But, no matter what. Jesus Christ is my Lord and savior. There is no other way to get to heaven, or to the Father. My Life verse is Romans 8:14. I seek him daily. And without the shed blood of Jesus, and his free gift of salvation. I am totally helpless without him. I throw myself at Gods mercy and salvation through him alone. Let the chips fall where they may. If there be any fault, it is with me…. Not him.
