One of the best Christmas adverts I’ve ever seen, love the two gloves making a heart and the one in the bread bin, 😂. Brilliant advert, captures the spirit of Christmas down to a tee
Mate, they started filming that m and s ad back in August, and the burning of the red, white and green paper hats only lasted like a second. They had now idea a war would have started soon after and no one on the team probably noticed, how burning those colours would have eventually been seen as offensive.
Well done Morrisons - a terrific advertisement without a sales pitch. Merry Christmas to all Morrisons workers. You do a great job and your home delivery drivers couldn’t be more helpful.
@@susannoulton7634 Cats always want to go outside to deal with their toilet needs, Like the one in the video, ours taps on the window when we come downstairs in the morning, to save opening the cat flap to get back inside and remind us that it is feeding time. This ad would have been shot back in the summer, so the snow was fake.
I am quite surprised that Morrisons are not selling them as part of their Christmas campaign. It may be because the ads are highly secretive to prevent ideas being copied. The first 60 second ad was probably made several months ago. As you may have seen already, the theme is being carried through to several 20 second ads highlighting products and offers.
I just did a Morrisons on-line order for 12 December. Lots of offers and reductions. Not bad. Then a minute later I did an order for 22 December. All the offers and reductions were gone. All the prices were hiked to the max. Merry Christmas Morrisons share holders. I'm sure you really need the money.
Absolutely amazing @morrisons with tradition kept in mind, the only time of the year we get a break from the crap world we live in, loved the wee cat at the window reminds me of a wee cat that comes to mine Can’t wait to get my Christmas (not Thismas) food from you guys 👏🏼👏🏼
As you may have seen already, the theme is being carried through to several 20 second ads highlighting products and offers. Behind the scenes, the ad would have started off by about 2 hours filming the location house, capturing things such as the cat. It would have then been edited to 60 seconds to the music score and the animation added last. Second by second, ads like this can cost more in production than blockbuster films. They are often made by world leading cinematographers, either between films, or after they have retired.
Well done Morrison, Christmas advert brilliant this is the spirit we want, M&S Christmas advert an absolute disgrace I will not shop there ever again. Go woke go broke don't they remember what happened to bud light.
This is the best Christmas this year it's a typical British adverts 💯 the other adverts are more European and American. Good on you Morrisons for keeping the British Christmas adverts.
Morrisons are a very traditional firm, based in the north of England. Their own brand food and produce is slightly more expensive, but good value for money. Over the last decade, they have opened stores down south and they are quite popular. Their quality food is far cheaper than M&S.
The 60 second opening ad, is now being followed by a number of 20 second ads following the same theme. Each highlighting certain products and offers. Overall, it is a brilliant campaign, due to sales taking a back seat.
I keep thinking I have found my favourite Christmas advert of the year and then yet another amazing one comes along that is even better! 😂😂 this is now my new favourite! P.s. up yours M&S
A 'warm hand' for the music. Maybe there will be 'cover versions', possibly by the Soupremes, Chicken Shack, The Cranberries, The Spice Girls, Bananarama, Vanilla Fudge and Cream, and so many others. Nice ad. 😀
Definitely different and one of my all time favourite songs. I'll never take my oven glove for granted again
Why is the cat out in the snow?

What a great little advert and no so called “celebs” needed to promote the company ,well done Morrisons.
Here here!
Great advert , and so glad you didn't follow and go the same way as the M&S CHRISTMAS advert. Well done. 😊
Well done, Morrisons. Love this ad. Classic! Merry Christmas.
Awwww the oven gloves are adorable 🥰
This looks like the BEST Christmas advert this year. WELL DONE MORRISONS.
You didn't wait until the end, did you?
Wait until tomorrow. (That's when ASDA launches theirs).
@dceltd4361 I just seen your comment, and i watched the whole advert BEFORE writing my comment.

Love that these year's Christmas adverts are going back to its original funny roots... love it 👏☃️
Lovely. I shall buy my Christmas food shop at Morrisons after so many years at M &S. bad, bad M&S.
You’ve absolutely nailed it Morrisons, great advert all about Xmas and family, no added unwanted ingredients 🥳
Xmas......... that word represents the removal of Christianity from the season.....
@@chipbuttytime3396 That may be what it represents to you, for me it’s just a short version of Christmas, no drama.

Great advert. One you will remember.
My fave Xmas ad by far I always have to get my own oven gloves on and join in when this is on 😂❤
Well done to Morrisons. Just what we needed from a Christmas advertisement. You would make a fortune selling Christmas oven gloves like these😅😅
I definitely want a pair 🤣🤣
Shame the people (staff) who touch and make the food with their hands don’t even bother to wear any gloves 🤣

liked it - thank goodness an advert without a message other than the Christmas one! which is how it should be!
Love this advert 😊
Well done Morrisons, don't worry I'm shopping with you this year not M&S or Asda
Well done Morrison’s. Far more enjoyable than the Waitrose or that absolutely awful M & S anti Christmas advert.
I love the M+S one! This is good too 😊
Still got to have those diversity boxes ticked though, can't have an all white family, oh no that would be unacceptable. Absolutely pathetic.
Just fun! Well done Morrisons.
Nope Waitrose certainly is the best of 2023!

Better than anticipated. Quite refreshing actually. Bit of fun 😊
