I love the Cult, and this song is the fucking bomb! That being said ... I wish Billy and the second guitar would staccato the riff like in the original. The power of that riff blows your head off! Still ... they kick major ass ... and Ian sounds awesome here!

Billy writes the best rock and roll riffs of all time for my money!!!!!!!!!!!! He just knows how to work the space between the notes..... and locks it down with a rock solid drummer.....
I'm going to see them this weekend... saturday in austin and sunday in houston... been looking forward to seeing them live for 10 plus years at least. Long live the cult is right!!!!!
They don't sound like AC/DC. This was one album. Read about why this album sounded like this. Then listen to Star or Coming Down. The Cult May be the best PURE rock band to make it in decades. Ever evolving and always a true rock and roll band. THIS is what rock is all about. THIS is what it's supposed to be.
i still don't get what's wrong with being influenced by other bands...they admit loving AC/DC and Led Zeppelin and wanting that kind of sound for this record. why is that a problem? It's still not literally AC/DC...it's the Cult's unique sound.
Billy Duffy was and still is 1 of the greatest guitar players. He is amazing and Ian astburys voice still is roar and unspoilt
