Honestly its more realistic for my expectations. All these tutorials tend to show perfect expectation seeds and then i wonder why my rng is never like that. Keep up the great work. I feel like i really understand the game better now!

The part about putting the steel on cards you're going to use was brilliant I didn't even think of that! That's definitely going to help my game a lot! Thank you for that and the shout out to the original person came up with the idea!

Its gambling dude you always leave yourself an out. Who cares if you have to play it or not. This game isnt that hard but it does have a lot of lines to play along in any given run. Read the card and figure out how to use it.
Sometimes you get unlucky with shops. Focus on getting scaling additive mult, xmult, additive chips - also try and build an economy (Max interest is at $25), before opening packs.

I'm not sure what the name of the joker is, but there's one that says "all cards are considered face cards." I've tried using that one a few times and nothing ever happens with it. Would you be able to share what that one is all about?
The biggest thing this does is allow other jokers that effect face cards to effect all your cards. I.e. sock and buskin retriggers face cards when scored, so now with pareidolia every thing retriggers. There is scary face that adds 30 chips for each scored face card, well now all scored cards add 30 chips. Etc. it's only useful if you pair it with face-card specific jokers.
So the cards are going ranked left to right, and also a tid bit is cards are ordered by suit, Spade, Heart, Club, Diamond. I am making a guess based on the fact I had way more Kings of Hearts/Spades than the two (a Club & a Diamond) Aces but I was wrong when saying IT HAD TO be a king. For some reason in the moment I thought I did not have those two aces in deck.
Things scale extremely fast, you almost need a steel card, red seal build with mimes to do it. You can go with glass until like Ante 12-13 but soon your glass all breaks.
Just recorded it on stream Saturday, so its going to be a few weeks until it comes out in the Lets Play! If you want to see it though (And don't tell anyone this) you can watch the Live archive from Saturday on my channel, it was the first run of that stream.
Very interesting. How do you deal with a boss that disables face cards or hearts if you build this way? I just lost a run in ante 5 cause I was playing based on pareidolia and buffs to face cards and the boss debuffed them all.
I realized right after it could have been, there are ways of switching between suit/rank and knowing what's in your deck that you can tell, but I got lucky.
@@ZainoTVLive Got it, thanks for confirming! I'm always trying to find ways that help figure out what the face down cards are, but wasn't sure if I missed some way to tell. I saw in another video that you can use tarot upgrades like Empress or Hierophant to briefly flip the cards and see what they are, which can be useful in a pinch. Anyway, thanks for your videos, they've been super helpful! Gonna have to look into some of your full runs too.
Lol, I love your videos and have been watching several over the last few days. But I literally had to stop this one after about the 3rd hand where you kept getting the best cards over and over. Bears absolutely no resemblance to my games hahaha.

Very refreshing to see the unsuccessful runs. So many games streamers only show the good bits.

This and focusing on removing cards you don't want (not just adding cards you want) from your deck were my two biggest take aways

Still stuck on doing a Red deck run. I just get to level 7 and get screwed. I’m at a loss

I've been really struggling to win my first Gold stake run and this video has really given me something to think about for future attempts.

You can die, its not a fool proof play depending on your build.

How did you know what those face down cards were going to be???
by selecting them so they pop up, then switching between rank and suit order, you can get a pretty good idea of what cards they are
