      @@ldv02 I can't know if you're telling the truth or not, and this is the kind of situation where someone in your position would lie. You didn't mention written math or writing, how are those? And beyond that, all of what you said could be true, and you could still be a failure. Are the getting acctuly adiqute time out of the house to socialize? Cause that's often the biggest flaw in home schooling
      Do you treat them well? Is the reason they're so ahead of their grade level because you force them to study, and through they may know a lot, but are stressed out all the time. Or that it's all memorized, but hasn't been truly learnt. Do you yell at them, or hit them if they don't do their work, or if they do somthing wrong? Do they have a massive list of chores every day?
      Are you a good teacher? What material are you using? How do you know the material is good?
      How will your "schooling" evolve once they reach high school age? Will you be able to keep up with teaching? No man is an island, how do you expect to be both a parent and a teacher, and not end up sacrificing qaulty in both fields? Will you allow them to develop independence, or will you keep them trapped at home?
      All of these are very important questions in determining whether or not your doing as well as you think you are.

      Odd flex about nursing but ok. The schooling isn't what I'm talking about, anyone can get a teaching degree or a nursing degree, the real factor is experience, most teachers have been doing their job for a while and have taught hundreds of kids and have the lessons down pat, you've taught 3, and I hold a lot more respect for the teachers then you as a nurse. Teachers have the most important job in the world and you can't convince me otherwise, don't talk down on public school teachers, they are national treasures. Teachers inspire kids and teach the next generation and in a public environment like that kids hear many different ideas from many different people. I don't think schooling is everything though, and a fancy nursing degree is way overated, I did go to college but it was my backup plan and mainly focused on building my own business from the ground up, and now I am my own boss and I have the coolest most exciting job in the world and I get to do what I love most in this world every day, now that's actually impressive

    • @Saltyanddone
      @Saltyanddone 2 года назад

      By the way I wouldn't brag about the cursive thing, there is a reason no one teaches it any more, it's a dead form of writing and only used for signatures, back when I was homeschooled my mom had this rule where I could only write in cursive and to this day I can only write in cursive and as a result no one can read what I write since no one can understand it, might I suggest you teach your kids to type instead, that is much more practical

      the mainstream schooling system, while I think you're talking about what happened during the pandemic which was "schooling at home." Very different unfortunately, it was a system that had no capacity for working at home and was during a crisis, terrible for so many families and children!! I think people are upset because they think you're denigrating "homeschoolers" in the true sense of the word, and it's a sensitive place for some! Just to provide some context. I am 12 and I won’t do anything bad like that but I understand wanting to be public schooled!!
      2 years ago my brother got sick of school and faked being sick every single day and my parents decided to take him out of school and that also meant taking me out of school. And they she barely taught us anything.. I swear I learned more off of RUclips and roblox then I did that book-
      After that I had to mentally take care of myself for 2 years..-
      My parents are good parents, they take care of me physically, they tell me they love me, etc but I feel like I’m missing out on something. Maybe I’m just a spoiled brat?
      But, also maybe I blamed alot on my parents when I was getting physiologically abused by some one else,
      When they found out they just told me that it was my fault, and when I was being groomed they said it was also my faul
      (Sorry for venting but some parents fail homeschooling.)

You said not being in the school makes you want the bad things you see other kids doing. And it make you want to be rebellious. That's an issue with you not with homeschooling. Sounds like you just want to follow the crowd and lack respect for your parents.
