@@discomadnesshow are we supposed to know. It really frustrated me. Barely any DJs within this space share the tracklist of what they play. This isn't the 90s. Things should be accessible. Particularly for disabled people who find it hard to synchronise information from multiple sources.
@@dayday43 Like I said, great tunes and he definitely kept a sweet vibe going, just commenting on the mixing. I didn't think it was that special for going live on Glitterbox. Sorry lol
@johnriley9742 just in case your younger than what I think.... you do know he's mixing songs with live instruments and there's nothing wrong with his blends.... and he came.from the school of tweaking the EQ to emphasize certain parts of a song( yall really.missed out) Get some research on him..... Jamie is pretty good at his craft Carry on
@@discomadness Mate, I'm 47 years old with a degree in Creative Music Technology and have been djing since I was 15 years old. I know all about guys like Larry Levan, Nicky Siano etc and clubs such as The Paradise Garage and The Loft. I get what he's doing with the eq and where it comes from and I use the same techniques myself at times. That said, I recognise sloppy mixing when I hear it, live instruments or not. I'm not knocking him as a dj just giving an honest opinion rather than the usual blind faith response of "he's on fire " or "wow this is amazing". I did the same for Sophie Lloyd who was on a few weeks back who's mixing was frankly terrible at times. I just think if you are gong to be given a platform like. this to play on you should be on top form. Dimitri from Paris being an excellent example.
