Nice ride video. Ive recently bought a Ruroc helmet. Its top quality and the designs are awesome. I only went for a matt black but it's so comfy, large view area, you can add Bluetooth and audio, streaming attachments, the works. Definitely check them out.

@@Kamdorian it's a full face. The Atlas 2.0 I went for but there is a newer version the Atlas 3.0. They have a motocross style helmet called the Berserker. There is only 2 styles so far, for road riding, cause I think they fairly new. There's plenty of reviews and videos to do some research on. Well worth a browse to see if one catches your eye.
@R B good to know yea the designs look awesome, wish I could try some on before buying though.
@@Kamdorian yeah that's what I wanted to do. I don't think they sell in a store either. You can send them back free of charge I think, but you will need to buy it first. Think they have a 40% sale for black Friday tomorrow. I also use a scorpion covert-x which is comfy and affordable. Mouth guard comes off also. 3 styles in one. Looks good for the cruiser style the vulcan has.

Excellent ride. Please replace the helmet. Thats the most important thing. Get a food one even if you have to pay a bit more.

Just got my Vulcan S last month and found your vids quite usefull, so thanks for that!
What seat cushion do you use?
Awesome man congrats on the Vulcan! I use the stock mid reach seat with a cheap Amazon inflatable cushion added on top. It's not the best but it let's me ride for an hour before my behind starts getting sore. There's alot of better options out there but much more expensive like $800+ range for Corbin seat. Some people also get the stock seat reupholstered for like $100 but you have to find a shop that would do that. The main issue with the stock reduced reach and mid reach cushions is they don't have enough padding at all in front saddle part of the seat. The extended reach stock seat actually has a gel insert and is the most comfortable out of the stock seats but if your short like me then it sits you too far back from the handle bars. I own a 2015 Vulcan S and am going to implement a couple of your mods. Especially love that exhaust. As far as helmets go don't skimp bro. Throw money at it. I speak from the perspective of someone that was full gear and still managed to hit the ground hard enough for 3 days in ICU last year. That was on a Vulcan 900. I had a Bell Eliminater with MIPS. Mid grade helmet but saved my life. My current lid is a 6D ATS-1R , a bit more premium.

100% agree. I started with a $80 helmet and when I decided to buy a $400 Shoei helmet the difference was night and day when it comes to sound suppression and overall comfort.

I’m an Alpinestars guy from top to bottom ! I’ve an entry level HJC and an entry level Bell helmet, both Dot and ECE certified.. I’m sure you need an upgrade from Amazon helmet (even though it may have a 5.5 star rating on Amazon !)
What about fountain pens ? No video in the last few months ? I’ve collected quite a few (mostly vintage) pens in the last couple of months !
Thank you! Haha I would love to visit Mumbai again, last time was 7 years ago for a family wedding, had the time of my life. Although riding there is much more dangerous lol. I do like the fit of alpinestars gears but it is just too expensive for me. I will probably upgrade after my current gear wears down. Definitely need a new helmet I hear good things about Bell, will check it out. My issue is I wear glasses while riding so need a modular helmet that opens otherwise it puts pressure on my glasses and face. Since winter is coming and the bikes will be hibernating I may do some pen videos again or try something new. Vintage pens sound cool, which ones did you get?

@@Kamdorian That pen case is a 12 pen case bought from Amazon India for $10.. I’ve now upgraded to a ‘multi storied’ 60 pen case..
I guess you’re referring to Sheaffers’ nibs which are Inlaid nibs. E95S’ nib is also inlaid, but it’s shape is different.

@@sathishrao7926 ahh good to know they are called inlaid. Wow 60 pen case must be epic. I am currently using a portable zippable 20 pen case that I got from Amazon. My desk is already full of stuff so no room for a nice pen case box.
Love your channel, I have found so many idea for my ride. Couple questions for ya. Where are you located? Foliage is gorgeous. Also I see your bike is very smooth in lower speeds, has that evolved after the exhaust and Booster Plug, or just experience in riding the bike?
Thanks man appreciate it! I'm on the east coast near NY. I actually bought the bike with the exhaust and booster plug already installed so I have not experienced the bike before these mods were added. It is pretty smooth but I am also used to the throttle now after riding the bike for about 7 months. I have read a lot that the booster plug does significantly reduced jerkiness at low speeds. The CS racing exhaust actually doesn't require the booster plug or any remapping since it has a muffler built-in. One other thing you could try is to modify the throttle free play, when i first got the bike the throttle was way too loose so I tightened it and now have more control. Good luck and ride safe!
Z1R makes some decent helmets. Their snow helmets have dual pane visors, and also electric shields to keep visor fog free...

It’s in the 30°Fs over here and still riding lol! I don’t want to put my Vulcan S away just yet! Will probably store it just barely before snowfall . My hands sure don’t like it but it’s too much fun to ride around.
Haha that's awesome man yea I have some winter gloves that keep my hands warm but they are too bulky. The lowest temp I rode in was like 45-50F. I'm definitely not ready to put the bike away for winter yet, will be a sad day lol. Gotta enjoy these last month or so of the riding season. Ride safe!
@@Kamdorian I was looking into gloves like that but I wasn’t able to move my fingers that good, so regular gloves it is lol! The cold wind going under my helmet doesn’t help either haha, stay safe brother would love to see a helmet go pro set up vid one of these days!
@@e.cabrera1861 yea I have a warm thin ski mask type thing that keeps my head warm from the wind. Great idea on the gopro setup video will surely do it soon!

I like my Sedici Strada helmet. It's my first one so I have none to compare it to, but it has a lot of good reviews and there are decent amt of motovlogger videos that have recommended it.. It has some good premium features for a mid range price. 👌
Cool thanks for the recommendation I'll check it out. Sedici makes great products, love my sedici gloves. Do you feel any pinch points on your ears after wearing the helmet for an hour or so? My current helmet gives me sharp pain in my left ear after an hour it's so weird. Maybe my head is an odd shape lol.

What camera settings do you used on the go pro?
Basic stuff 1080p, 60fps, max 1000 iso, best to experiment and check out RUclips videos on best settings to use.

When you turn the handlebar complitely, the mirror don’t touch the fuel tank?
You can angle the mirror in such a way that it doesn't touch the tank. But it will hit your knees at full turn. I will be flipping my mirrors to be above bars soon

@@Kamdorian I want something with more displacement. Plus I found a killer deal on a Yamaha Bolt. If the Bolt sells before I sell my bike, I'll just end up keeping it. I love the bike I just want a V Twin. Anyway it's the blizzard white one. Tons of mods too. Corbin seat, bluetooth speakers, batwing fairing, bar end mirrors, luggage rack, LED headlight, Delkevic exhaust
@@TheShortcop cool yea I do miss the v twin rumble, used to have a Honda shadow 750, will probably get a Harley one day. I was considering the bolt before I got my Vulcan. Decided on the Vulcan due to better acceleration and lighter weight easier to handle.
@@Kamdorian Yeah I'm torn, honestly, because I dropped a ton of money on mods on my Vulcan and I'll never get my money back for those. Just doesn't increase the resale value of the bike at all. But this guy is selling a 2020 Bolt with 85(!!!) miles on it for $6000. He just wants to pay off his loan and be done with it. That bike at a dealership would be listed for $8000+.
