Hopefully this helps some of you in your adc games. Dominance doesn’t increase your qins and ody bow procs, but titans bane does. Now you can stop building dom on builds that don’t use it. You DO want dom in crit builds because the extra 20%pen gets more crit damage though.
I love titans bane in my builds, I run manakins and o-bow, it's filthy.. then again, I'm currently stuck between silver 1 and gold, so what do I know 🙃
I can confirm that after playing on default button layout on controller since i started the game all the way back around 2017-18 that switching to savage will save your life.
Does this work if I play claw? I feel like if I make the switch then I have to stop playing claw.

The discussion about the difficulty of learning to play on mnk vs controller is so disingenuous because no one has ever disputed that. When people say controller is harder than mnk they are talking about tracking targets and the flexibility of key binds. Also the reason more people play on consoles than pc is a lower bar of entry into the gaming industry. I.E It's much easier to go to Walmart and buy a console than it is to find a good gaming pc
I can agree learning MnK is harder than controller but the benefit of MnK versus Controller is way higher which is why a lot of people with PCs don't just use controllers. The people trying to argue are being ignorant and instead of saying that MnK is better they say it's easier.

Studies have been done already. If someone plays 100% on controller and another person plays 100% on M&K the person going from Controller to M&k will convert FASTER than someone going from M&K to controller. LOSING full range of motion is harder to adjust to than GAINING full range of motion.

Hey Weak3n do you have any interest in an unranked evaluation match or 2 maybe starting with gold and then diamond if the gold game goes well? Do well in casual matches w/ my ish but dont play much ranked due to not having friends who enjoy it so its typically myself, I am interested to see what you think of my play.
I'm sure if I picked up the keyboard and mouse again like I did in the past, I could learn relatively quickly, but for now, I am just enjoying the controller plays

TBH, Sometimes I think I'm in elo hell, but not in the "I'm sooo much better than my teammates way" in the "my teammates keep rage quitting the game" way. I lost 100 MMR yesterday from people getting mad and DCing or staying in base. That is the real elo hell imo

@Weak3n I think what that dude was trying to say is that MnK is BETTER not EASIER ( even tho he said easier ), obviously u have an advantage on MnK and 99/100 times, a GM MnK will beat a GM controller in pure mechanics. But yes I do agree with you, controller is easier to pick up and play, than picking up MnK, but when u do learn it, you have an advantage because of the higher skill ceiling . (Speaking as a controller player myself)

I gotta say that as someone who is about 120hrs into learning mk who was a high high masters on controller I completely agree with weak3n. Its definitely going to take me longer to get to where I was but i think the game is so much easier even at tripple plat level than if i was on controller. Also just got $1600 pre built and i run smite max everything at around 40-50c so you do not need a good pc to run smite.

Played on console for 5 years before I discovered savage, tbh I didn’t have trouble aiming before without claw, you just need to read enemy movement and play it where they are going to be not where they are. With savage it’s all faster and you don’t have to predict 😂
I'm aware savage is better but I've been using default forever because I find it pretty easy to telegraph player movement like you said..
I'm still trying to adjust to savage controls, but well.. muscle memory lol

Except smite isn't a game where you predict where they will be. 90% of the time you shoot where they are, especially in higher ranks where people don't walk in straight lines.

It's easy to learn what people will do, this is how I play and how high level players predict movement.

This guy is perfectly placed at gold, he makes too many boneheaded mistakes to be in Plat. I have a friend in silver who would put play this guy in his worst days. If I was that anhur, knowing how bad he is I would’ve bullied him far more than what they did to him all game.
Aiming abilities on controller is harder ask Bobby me and him talked about it in his stream a little while back the issue is there’s no custom layout and you’re forced to play savage if you wanna play instant cast even tho it kinda sucks and autos are more inconsistent to hit on console as well just like a shooter without aim assist
It most definitely is harder to aim with your thumb. Less range of motion means the necessity for percision is a lot higher. Theres a reason why it takes a controller player less time to learn M&k than it does a M&K player to learn controller of both have never picked up the other. YOUR arguement is based on game mechanics and not really input mechanics.

Great content as always these videos are always super funny when they get exposed. But I do have to say the idea that aiming isn’t harder on console is hilarious to me as someone who plays both. Controller isn’t anywhere as comparable to mouse. That said smite is a little different and less aim intensive but it still makes a difference.

I’ve played this game both MnK and controller. It’s not even the same game. MnK is so much easier it’s like cheating compared to controller. Landing abilities, AA cancelling, movement, being able to flick your wrist and completely turn around in milliseconds compared to controller that suffers from sensitivity awkwardness.
I wouldn’t say controller players are bad…..they’re just playing the game with a serious handicap.

That pc and controller discussion pissed me off so bad. In no world is controller harder than M&K and I played tons of FPS games on both. PS4 for like 7 or 8 years then swapped to pc for the last 3 or 4 years. I can still stomp on console FPS games if I really wanted to. Controller is so much easier because its way more limited to what you can do and its all the same movement. PC is much more free moving and complex. Can't speak about smite difficulty comparison cause I'm just straight dogshit at it cause I just started getting into it and it's my first moba but ow I put in like 3000+ hours in it when it was good and when I switched to pc I hard struggled for like 8 months

Usually, even in those moments, you can tell if someone is in elo hell or not. There will be games where this happens, especially in his rank. So it's important to see how he switches up his gameplay based on how good the enemy team is doing or not. On top of that, Smite's comeback mechanics are super op, so realistically no game is over if you make it to late game.
I don't understand why people play Heimdall if they're trying to show their skill in ELO Hell? They always misplay him so much. Edit: Also, I used to play on Mouse and Keyboard in the past but play on controller nowadays. It is way easier but I play relative to the level of the people who were masters ranked last year, relatively, meaning I can adapt during the game and notice what I'm doing wrong usually and change it. But I haven't played in 6 months or so, I may be extremely rusty based on that. So I might've gone down in elo but I have yet to play ranked.

No your wrong as someone with both pc and PlayStation I play smite on PlayStation because it’s the only moba available for console. And the only reason I’m even back playing the game is because of smite 2 otherwise I’d be playing league or something else. Also your right it’s harder to pick up mouse and keyboard over controller however once you learn it mouse and keyboard is much easier to aim and play with. And thanks for the savage tip I’ve never realized until you said something lol

That is also the exact reason why it's worse than mouse and keyboard in the long run. Also, your competitor theory is provably wrong. Yes, Smite has a big console playerbase because of their monopoly in the moba genre. But even if there was a competitor, people would still play smite. If you were right about that, then why do people play smite on PC? Why not League, dota, pred? I think it's ironic that you call it a dumb argument while not understanding the point of it all in the first place.

Has it ever dawned on you that pred is coming to console soon with that being said they realize they have to make moves because smite is their biggest game. There is a reason professionals play with m&k other than when they play cod aside from that it’s normally m&k and that’s because once you learn it it’s easier.

Also, I agree Smite distinguishes itself from those games, as it is a 3rd person Moba, however Pred and Overprime had existed on PC as well, which was a direct competitor to Smite and both died out pretty instantaneously, with Pred now waiting till it's release for a chance to revive itself. Also, Pred is not the reason why Smite 2 is being made. Smite 1 is on a 20-year-old engine, that's why it's being remade. Aiming on controller on smite is definitely harder. That’s like saying COD with no aim assist on controller is the same as aiming with a mouse when aim assist is literally there to bridge the gap.

(Im a jungle main so I feel you’d be a good place to learn) How often do you do either one of those and how does one go about actually applying? I swapped fully to pc not too long ago. I think I’m like plat 1 or 2 with around 60% win rate currently(not really stuck just need to play more, I think I was diamond 2 a season or two ago, but I’m confident I can hold my own in a masters lobby.). I play with some friends who don’t really play as much so I’d win more, And you can’t really avoid the unlucky occurrences where teammates actually leave or give up. my logic for the mnk vs controller debate and why controller is way easier is its common to hear a mnk player say "let me plug in controller" to make it easier for them but you almost never hear a controller player say "let me plug in my mnk"
I would say it is FAR easier to aim and auto attack on KBM.. but it is significantly harder to develop the muscle memory on the left hand for the other inputs.
Yeah, the ranking checks out. I don't play a ton but could easily hit masters or GM on console. But now we easily hit diamond, and masters is more of a grind that I just don't have time for. So even on Controller, I'm still better than 95% of kbm players...
i play on mnk and controller. aiming on controller is only harder when someone i hard juking you in close range, its easier to do on mnk. only other thing is using omnidirection movement abilites is easier with the analog stick than with wasd. other than that, theres not much difference

As someone who has played pc and controller, kbm is so much easier than controller imo, the cost of new pcs and staying up to date on them is ridiculous but yes kbm flicks are so much easier, flicking 180 is super easy, I started on kbm at 5 and was able to compete with my dads friends on counter strike…an aim based game. Controller took me years to even be decent.
It took mastering claw grip to be pretty competitive in games like destiny and cod, but pc will always have the advantage in frame rates, and precision
@@stevenjohnson8191 i disagree with this pretty heavily. the mouse is the easy part about kbm. learning the keyboard is the real difficulty. I'm still not used to it after getting a pc 6 months ago. I agree once you get used to it that kbm is much better especially with the frame rates and shit, but the conversation was about what was easier to learn. I find it hard to understand how anyone could find a controller harder imo, even from my own experience using claw it wasnt nearly as bad as learning keyboard. like weak3n said there's a reason why most casual gamers use prefer controllers and consoles. It's just way easier to pick up and use.

I mean all my friends who got pcs recently struggled with getting comfortable on the keyboard, at least back to as comfortable as they were with a controller. Were you playing smite as a child when learning the keyboard? From my own experience, everyone struggles with it for a little while. and after 6 months i still misclick keys and am slow on certain movements. my skill issue with the keyboard wasn’t the meat of my argument nor what i thought you’d focus on so i didn’t think i needed to expand that much. don’t think aiming with a mouse is that hard to learn either, pretty intuitive compared to the keyboard.

I usually love the content, but oh man was the kbm+controller argument hard to listen to. Yes, controller is easier to learn, but thats not the main reason consoles are so much more popular with casual videogaming. Its accessibility. The entry price to a gaming PC far outpaces a relatively similar console. Its the same reason why mobile gaming is way bigger than console. Everyone already has a smartphone/tablet. Everyone is your market then. The entry cost is realistically 0.

Not to mention he's around 32, so assuming he quit console when he was in his twenties shows that it actually is easy and he was right. In no world would you quit mouse and keyboard for 5 to 10 years and come back for 30 games on a game you never played mouse and keyboard on and actually win the entire thing.

Controller is 1000x easier, I switched from console to pc and I literally felt like I was playing a different game. Then I went back to console and was doing basic things and my friends thought I was doing crazy stuff
