This thing has WIN written all over it. Absolutely love the omission of the seemingly ubiquitous "hole in the roof". Great review and enthusiastic delivery guys!
Toyota and Lexus's eCVT in their hybrids is nothing like a conventional CVT, so calling it an "eCVT" is pretty misleading. Regular CVTs use a pulley and belt system that's high-maintenance and unreliable. On the other hand, the eCVT uses a planetary gear set to blend power from the engine and electric motors seamlessly. This advanced setup means you get awesome performance, like 0-60 in 5.6 seconds, while also enjoying incredible fuel economy and unmatched reliability-you won't find dealerships stocking parts for this transmission. The name "eCVT" makes it sound like those problematic CVTs, but it's actually way more sophisticated.
@@SFzip I appreciate the time that it took you to explain all that. For me, it’s also the way it shifts and the way it feels while accelerating. With that, it’s great to hear that they certainly have a more advanced better performing system than most.

You had me until the CVT. People won't pass on a car because it has a traditional transmission, but they will pass on a great car with a CVT.
