I live in Florida,there are some shady and dirty fast food places down here .this is why my food shopping bill so high my family does not eat out .I make lunch breakfast dinner and snacks in between .we do go get drinks from the brand-new Starbucks near us .lol and yes a lot of foreigners open up places and I don't understand why they don't understand the food sanitary rules. In my small home town in southern Illinois . Our cats were turning up missing in our neighboorhood.. A Asian neighboor had a big resturant , it looked nice and clean , we all ate there. This guys back yard faced my best friends back yard. She kept seeing him late at night out in his yard cleaning animails on a wooden table , also bringing fish and God only knows what else back from a small pond up the street from us. My friend snuck up in his yard one day and saw several shallow graves. She dug some up with her garden shovel. She found a lot of fur , bones and small cat collars. Luckly she was our states attorneys secretary at our county court house.( Williamson County) The name of the resturant is Nong Chen. In Marion , Illinois. That place is still open today . I guess he cleaned his act up , but Ill never eat there again.

It hasn’t changed much except for it had some MediaNoche sandwiches (a smashed ham & cheese) and fries that I’d sit a the counter for… that was about the only thing I would eat. But, it was a big Cuban coffee hub for the race track help.

The 3 stage sink is not supposed to be used to prep food. That’s just for cleaning. You have to have a separate food prep sink and area if you butcher / trim / cut meat in house. Chicken and fish require their own station by law.
About half the population have cats in their homes however they aren't having strangers drop off livestock and butchering it a wash sink. The cats aren't that big of an issue by comparison.
Contact with live poultry has spread Salmonella, which can be deadly. Look up annual rates of hospitalizations, etc. No way is it safe for restaurant staff to handle live poultry, or for the poultry to be present to begin with.

I used to eat off the catering trucks aka roach coaches and road side stands, some of the tastiest food around, until I found out where they got their meat, none of it USDA inspected, their suppliers were people who raised animals at home and processed them with out any inspection or testing for parasites and delivered to the restaurant. It is a big money business, and you never know what you may be eating, chicken, cat, dog or who knows. But it's tasty!

I live in Florida,there are some shady and dirty fast food places down here .this is why my food shopping bill so high my family does not eat out .I make lunch breakfast dinner and snacks in between .we do go get drinks from the brand-new Starbucks near us .lol and yes a lot of foreigners open up places and I don't understand why they don't understand the food sanitary rules. Well also I go on Facebook marketplace place and they sell batches of tamales and tacos from market place out of their homes. So that's gotta be illegal.??? Not sure

This is why the laws need to be stricter about who are allowed to open and operate these places. It’s disgusting how little these owners care especially if they are getting away with it. There is a certain demographic of people who run restaurants I refuse to do any kind of business with. They are known for this kind of unacceptable behavior.

It's most restaurants. No matter the demographic. Even these big chain restaurants that you would think would be clean and perfect. Mom and pop classy places. How do I know ? I install their security systems and POS machines and communications. So I'm have to be all over the business inside and out. I see this every day I work.
Im an immigrant myself and nobody mentions that this is unfortunately a cultural issue. This is a normal way in their country and then coming to the US and try to adjust to all those regulations and rules is not the usual thing with immigrants. This is the reality.

In my small home town in southern Illinois . Our cats were turning up missing in our neighboorhood.. A Asian neighboor had a big resturant , it looked nice and clean , we all ate there. This guys back yard faced my best friends back yard. She kept seeing him late at night out in his yard cleaning animails on a wooden table , also bringing fish and God only knows what else back from a small pond up the street from us. My friend snuck up in his yard one day and saw several shallow graves. She dug some up with her garden shovel. She found a lot of fur , bones and small cat collars. Luckly she was our states attorneys secretary at our county court house.( Williamson County) The name of the resturant is Nong Chen. In Marion , Illinois. That place is still open today . I guess he cleaned his act up , but Ill never eat there again.

From working in restaurants myself i know alot of things that i know people should know about. This is what makes me scared to eat at some of these restaurants owned by foreigners. Their food handling practices are almost always suspect. I know y’all are able to snatch a rat off the streets, then cook and serve it in your Country, but we don’t do that over here. They also like to cook outdated meats.

I worked as a cook at a place and the guy that was the kitchen manager tried to get me to pick the green stuff of the hamburger meat that smelled horible and cook and sell it to the public.

Since I was born in Cuba, imma tell y’all how it is. That first woman is Cuban, and well, Cubans are very bad at keeping and maintaining restaurants. Those cats, definitely got served as food at some point😂 idk about the second woman.
Back in Cuba, a lot of the places where you would go to buy food would be much worse than what they showed here. Living there we don’t think about it and we grow up with stronger immune systems and much different gut microbes that help keep us alive through it all.

I’ve been to that diner over decades ago, right across the street from Hialeah Park. It hasn’t changed much except for it had some MediaNoche sandwiches (a smashed ham & cheese) and fries that I’d sit a the counter for… that was about the only thing I would eat. But, it was a big Cuban coffee hub for the race track help.
Honestly speaking, I see no issue with prepping a chicken on site like that. How different do people think mechanically separated chicken is???

The 3 stage sink is not supposed to be used to prep food. That’s just for cleaning.
You have to have a separate food prep sink and area if you butcher / trim / cut meat in house. Chicken and fish require their own station by law.
About half the population have cats in their homes however they aren't having strangers drop off livestock and butchering it a wash sink. The cats aren't that big of an issue by comparison.
Contact with live poultry has spread Salmonella, which can be deadly. Look up annual rates of hospitalizations, etc.
No way is it safe for restaurant staff to handle live poultry, or for the poultry to be present to begin with.
Your licensed "local chicken farms" most likely follow the USDA's steps for reducing the occurrence of Salmonella and other diseases. But she bought them from a guy on the street!!! Have people read the *CDC's Salmonella Outbreaks Linked to Backyard Poultry?*

I used to eat off the catering trucks aka roach coaches and road side stands, some of the tastiest food around, until I found out where they got their meat, none of it USDA inspected, their suppliers were people who raised animals at home and processed them with out any inspection or testing for parasites and delivered to the restaurant. It is a big money business, and you never know what you may be eating, chicken, cat, dog or who knows. But it's tasty!
