We’ll soon see how good Kamala and her campaign’s political instincts are. The fact that Jennifer Palmieri (who transferred from the Biden team and helped Hillary choose Tim Kaine and lose in 2016) is on the VP vetting team. So that doesn’t give me a lot of comfort. Walz is the one. Sure, Shapiro might help her win PA, but how will he help her in other states? Walz helps geographically top to bottom. He could speak to my Dad who lives in TN. He could speak to my husband’s Dad who lives in Illinois who is a very comparable representative of that non-college educated old white guy who is sick of the Democratic elitism. This is the demographic she needs to win over in several states, including Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, Nevada, Nebraska, Arizona, even TEXAS. Kamala will lose if she listens to the Hillary elites on her team. I hope not, but that’s how I see it.
It's so depressing how much politics is just games and numbers. Is the question which VP pick would push the best agenda? No, it's who will give Kamala enough stat boosts to secure more counties

Might all the hype around Shapiro and Philadelphia rally with "VP" be a ploy (decoy) like the intentional leaks of infighting over Biden's fitness? Could explain Trump's "any Jew who votes for Harris is a fool" as a preemptive attack strategy only to resume "rigged system", "corrupt prosecutors" as he nears his sentencing date.

@@Ok_Thanks Shapiros opinions on Israel aren't any different than any of the other options, but unlike the others he has publicly called Netanyahu the worst leader in the world.
@@unicorndeliciousit’s your vote. Please think about the alternative. Even if you have to hold your nose vote for her. You can not vote for her vp when he runs for President when she’s done. To much is on the line to sit this one out.
@@PhosPhryneyou are right they are all the same but Shapiro criticized college students for protesting.
I’m in st Paul looking at the capital praying rn
To the windoooooow to the walz
I like Walz..that feeding the kids is feel good and he started the "weird" thingy. She can then get distance from Gaza so.....
If Walz is the VP pick I will start believing in God again 🙏
... well now ... let's don't get carried away. 🙃
I was a Beshear Bro but I have become Walz pilled
Can I get both? 2 VPs?
Walz is the pick, hope for once Dem's make the right decision here.
Waltz or Beshear are an excellent choice imo. Kelly over Shapiro though…that would be a trash fire of a pick just to try and lock in Pennsylvania
Not Shapiro, not kelly. 1
Not the Collingwood jersey... goddammit Hasan lol
took me a lil second to join the party, but im now fully team Walz!
with everything that's come out about Shapiro within the last few days, picking him would be completely insane
itll be seriously hard for me to justify a vote for harris if she picks shapiro. to me it signals that the party is drifting further right and that the voter base cares more about "beating trump" than actually moving american politics in the right direction. lacking basic standards for politicians is how we plummett into fascism.
Letting an obvious fascist win the election is a faster way to fascism. It’s already got a whole foot in the door through Trump.
@@ZZ-qy5mv biden and harris are literally advocating for 2016 era trump policy in regard to immigration. think about the long term. if you think picking walz as vp would lose us the election you're fucking delusional.
I mean you can't move Politics in the right direction if you don't beat Trump, and the way to plummet into fascism is to let him win.
So whoever it takes. You don't let the actual fascists in because you don't like the Veep.
Extra down side for Shapiro... nobody wants him as a successor for Harris.
You see it correctly.
Pete came to my small city in Pennsylvania a few weeks ago, and right after they announced layoffs at one of the only factories in the city
As a Minnesotan, I selfishly want Walz to stay, but he would be so incredible as VP
I’d forgotten five thirty eight’s hubris in quantifying things more precisely than they have any business doing :P
It's so depressing how much politics is just games and numbers. Is the question which VP pick would push the best agenda? No, it's who will give Kamala enough stat boosts to secure more counties
😐Have you studied human history. This has been the case since the beginning. Literally Game of Thrones behavior.
Yes I know, that's why I said politics and not "current politics." I just find it depressing. People are so easily swayed by shapes and colors as Hasan says
@@ktb8332 no. It isnt that. Part of being a vp or pres is about appeal to citizens, and numbers are used in a democracy to check on that appeal.
Love those topical Milli Vanilli references from Vance
If she picks Shapiro we'll be relying on Trump to ruin his own chances, because her campaign will lose majority of it's momentum with the 35 and under crowd
Walz is my favorite and the more I learn about him, the more I like him. Pelosi is supporting Walz, along with a lot of others we've heard "leaks" about today. Pelosi is pulling the strings here. Biden likes Shapiro, though Pelosi apparently told Biden he needs to get to know Walz better. Biden likes Walz and the two get along well.
I'm for Tim Walz as VP
I'm with central committee aka Mike from PA and Hasan. i'm Walzpilled. I think he could help take Kamala into a into a landslide win
Please please Walz!!!!
Worst vice president?? Bro that spot easily goes to Cheney who is the devil incarnate
As a Minnesotan, I think Walz is an exceptional politician. Unfortunately, conservatives here have a really aggressive smear campaign against him (fellow Minnesotans, tell me how many "Walz Failed" stickers you see), and I'm worried they can push that to the national level through sheer repetition. That would be my only worry, is that the effort to discredit him could breach containment and drag Harris down with him. But policy for policy, I think he would be an objectively good VP.
Everybody keep the pressure up on social media. Do not let Josh have a moment of peace.
We need to push Walz over the finish line
Walz wallllzzzzzzzzz not Waltz. I'll be a bit sad if he gets picked. Still a lot less for MN to accomplish. Housing in particular.
I only want Beshar because I like his last name
30:05 "Just winning MI, WI and PA gives her 270" ... sure ... but picking Shapiro risks MI & WI falling to trump after the campaign loses every volunteer under age 30 in those states.
The more they can keep the other side trying to figure it out, the better. Maybe she picks Kelly and takes Texas and Florida too while they aren't looking
If she picks josh , i'm going to leave the top of the ticket blank.
If she picks walz I will go door to door and get them elected.
I suspect there's a lot of people who agree with me
he's an Aries Sun, she's a Libra Sun/Aries Moon it just makes sense
If I’m Harris, I do the ABC debate too even if Trump doesn’t show. Maybe invite RFK?
I'm having irrational issues with the name Shapiro
@@thoughtlesskills haha Ben trauma
Damn bro, arms getting big
Shapiro will actively hurt the ticket with his harassment claims, anti-BDS policies, and greasy politician demeanor. Given all of that, she will probably pick Shapiro because of Pennsylvania.
I want Walz, which means they'll pick Shapiro
I live in Michigan and get bombarded with texts from her campaign asking questions about favorability & other things like VP
The texts keep asking “How do you feel about Mark Kelly as Kamala’s VP”
& another today said “Kamala’s running mate candidates are Mark Kelly & Josh Shapiro. Who do you think should be VP?”
so it definitely is going to be either Mark Kelly or Josh Shapiro
I love my governor! I am sad to lose him but that is the VP we need!
