exactly, I find it VERY hard to believe newb hasn't watched lpl's ([1041] Titan’s Treasure PUZZLE Lock Solved). YT is getting worse than toktik I swear, nothing new and everyone just copies everyone's dances.

I'm pretty sure LPL did one of these and the method was exactly the same. I would be curious to find out what the grooves on the flat side of the key are for. Maybe to extract the key in the same manner you retracted the spring. It was just a bonus that you could access the key from the other end of the cylinder.

Don't you use the two pieces of metal "use one" to get the key out via the hole hence the lines in the top
