Never purchase HP deskjet printers, if you don't purchase HP cartridge costing 1600/-, they will disable printer after warranty period as printer driver & software are programmed accordingly and repair cost is above printer original cost and refilled cartridge doesn't work.

Bro use ink bottles , refill them it's very cheap , am using for last 5 years till now it has only costed me 2 cartridge change that's about 20 $ nd refill from last 5 years costed me about 5 $ in india .

Inkjet printers are very good now. I am talking about ink tank based. Epson l210 still working perfectly fine bought in year 2014. Close your eyes and buy Epson ink tank printers. You will not regret. I am into computer and printer repair business from 11 years.

Ink Cartridge drying up? Wrap the refill in a ziplock bag and store the refills in the chiller section of the refridgerator. Use only when needed and cartridge will last longer.

Just buy an ink tank printer if you buy the ink cartridge it have to be replace a time if it running low ink
I have Brother DCP-710W ink tank It has ADF feature comes handy when there are lots of pages but it is Simplex.
Absolutely agree! Did you check the peripage printer it is compact and nice, uses heat for printing so no cartridges, also it comes wifi enabled by default.
Sometimes I forget people I know in real life follow what I do here 😂 Yeah I’ve seen that in use. I was surprised how handy such a portal printer can be.

Take a print from the outside as without regular printing the ink gets dry in all kinds of printers.
It also requires 1 print atleast a week
@Yash_bhati01 You’re right All inkjets printers need to bet used once a week because their printheads can get clogged with dried ink. It’s also suggested to always keep your printer on . However I wonder if it’s because the printer would automatically run its print head cleaning feature . I’ve never noticed mine to that automatically
If you're not looking to print high quality photos, then laser printers are much better. They can sit for years and then still work without issues. They might cost slightly more, but so too do inktank printers, but the hassle free use is worth it.

Don't trust this bish selling with her affiliate link. No home printer should print in black & white color. You can buy any Epson or Canon printer for that but never opt for HP, even if it sells for 1rs
Epson EcoTank L3252 and Epson EcoTank L130 are the best sellers on market.
*Home printers need not be laser printer, cause such printers are meant for high volume prints and the lower tier ones print in bad quality for colors, and starts bit higher on 15K

Well if you talk about canon or HP printer they both requires cartridge printhead, if you use brother or Epson that different case. If you wanna go with canon or HP just use the inkjet then refill them syringe with their original ink bottles
@UrbanGardenbyRithy Eco tanks also have print heads which will clog if you don’t use them periodically. I’m fine with my HP 8025e because I can easily refill my cartridges.

Hi, I want to buy new printer which is smart ink tank , epson l6290.
Actually, I would like to buy it even it is a bit expensive, but it have many features like double side printing , auto documents feeder to scan multiple page or copy.
But the problem is that I am not in my country and I am studying abroad.
Is there any way to keep printer from getting ink dry when I send as shipment to my country.
Cause in that time It will take 2 months maximum to deliver my home without using.
I just stop in this point to decide whether I pay or pay cheap one and use just only for 2 year and then sell as second hand printer.
Dry ink is the least of your problems. Since there is a cleaning function.
😅 I don't recommend getting any ink tank printer. Either from Canon or epson. They all have a glitch after a certain amount of prints it will tell you " ink pad has end of life" you then need to go to a service center.
Or you can pay a 3rd party to reset your printer. First time is free. Afterwards it's like $9.

Hi Kavin, Brother printers are generally the fastest for home use. I'm using this one amzn.to/3WY9EV2 - quite good. No scanning though in this.
Sorry using this one amzn.to/3X34qaM which has wifi. The other one does not have wifi.
A wifi print server may not be that expensive. Cheaper for me than an equivalent laser with built-in WiFi.
