How to delete a Gmail account | PERMANENTLY!

If you have an old Gmail account you don't use, or one which collects tons of spam, start fresh and delete it! You can delete a Gmail account at any time using any connected device as long as you have your password and any configured 2FA.

Remember: deleting your Gmail account means that you will lose any unsaved data and access to services linked to this account. Make sure you download your data before deletion so you don't lose anything important. Services need to be migrated to a new email address or cancelled entirely.
Delete your account by:
1. Login to your Gmail account
2. Click "Manage Account"
3. Scroll to "Data and Privacy"
4. Click "Data from apps and services"
5. Scroll and click "Delete a Google service" (Download important data first!)
6. Click on the Trash bin icon next to Gmail
7. Enter another email address to verify
8. Click verification link when it arrives
9. Confirm your wish to delete the account by clicking the checkbox
10. Click "Delete Gmail" Button.
