Please correct me, but it didn't look like you dissolved the test substances in the correct amount of water (250 ml) which would be more than a full cup? The ones you use look like 0.2 l (200 ml) and you just have the bottom covered?

how do you store the Pen between measures? i have a cheap one from ebay and in the manual it said to just rinse in distilled water and put the cap on but i read that the sensor must be kept wet all times on a 3mol/l kci solution...

i calibrate ones a week. i wouldnt reuse the solution,i dont think you would get the same readings... but you can try, let me know if you get the same readings.
Any hydroponics store would have it I recommend the "Base 7.0". All u calibrate is the 7.0 and if the ph meter Is working properly That should sophist! Thanks for the positive comment:)
i have a red one of them just dropped it in the fish tank (wink wink) now its went all daft on me what ever you do dont drop it in the tank what i want to now is my calibrating stuff say 6.89 on the pack do do i set the pen to 6.9 being close to 6.86 or set to 7
Good vid, except that not specifying the amount of water may lead to errors. 1/4 of a cup whose size is unknown could mean anything, so people may be inaccurately calibrating their meters.

You didn't take on account the room temperature. Look at the calibration buffer solution. Why ?

gr8 video but im confused about plastic cup you are using thats 200-250 ml ? and u fill it 1/4 !..On calibrate bags it says 250 ml !?
