Update for September Plus a Question!

- Today we have a much shorter video than normal but I just want to give an update on the plans for September and what to expect over the coming month. As well as a asking a question about future content and visual aspects of future videos! Let's talk about it.

Two a week with visuals 👍
Big fan of early Roman republic history.
I would say feel free to focus on the visuals instead of more videos. The current visuals don’t bother me, but I can understand how it would be beneficial and even preferable.
I reccomend putting out videos that take more time and are more qualitative in terms of visuals, especially for people like me that learn a but better with visuals. Most people here probably don't care about the upload schedual being as frequent as 3 times a week, if you would put out 2 videos a month i would watch them
I appreciate you saying that my friend, it really means a lot! What exactly would you like to see, more maps, more text, or something else? Just trying to really get a gauge of where you all want the videos to move now that I'm comfortable with writing the scripts and things like that. Personally, I certainly want to improve the maps and map animations but beyond that I'm not too sure yet. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated!
@@idiottalkshistory i think the visuals should depend on the context, that's where animators usually have the upper hand in history videos, but i think you can manage with different historically accurate sketches and maps if you find them online and such. So i don't really reccomend using more of one thing but rather it should depend on what you're talking about, cuz in a video explaing latin more maps wouldn't be that usefull.
6 more to make 1000. Good going. Two a week is fine. Focus on on visuals. Take your time.
Thank you my friend! It's definitely crazy to think we're that close to 1000! I honestly thought this would mostly turn into me talking out into the void! What exactly would you like to see? More maps? More text elements? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Well, your twitter is disappointing.
I assume you're talking about my political posts. I'm never going to apologize or feel bad about sharing or saying what I believe in, if you don't like it that's fine. However, I will say that I firmly believe in looking at history with an objective point of view (at least where possible). I'll always do my best on that point but I will also always believe in what I believe in.

Can’t say I blame you, Twitter truly is horrid! I’ll tell you that Bernie Sanders and his 2016 campaign was the main reason I decided to get a degree in political science and volunteering for that campaign was the first time I participated in politics. That should explain most of it!
@@idiottalkshistory I liked Bernies ideas but I don't know how realistic they were.
I don't think rich people would agree to pay 77 percent tax on their estates without fighting back
