I'm more worried about the cat taking a swim to drectly chase the fishes inside the aquarium if it's not tall enough or the top not being covered. Also you could probably add a vivarium beside it specifically for the turtle, bridging it with the aquarium. This should at least give the fishes a break from being constantly stressed by the turtle's presence.

The turtle is only in videos taken with the dark background aka at their workspace and not in the final version with the cat. There's also a lighter turtle shown against a white background but that's a different aquarium with more land area From what I've seen, they add creatures temporarily to enclosures to show the enclosure but it's not the animals full time home. The main thing I'd be worried is the cat spit getting in the water 😬 not sure how much of an risk vector that is for the fish
@@hefoxed that’s good to hear, as for the fish; could contaminante the water but I do not imagine that it will pose a severe risk to the fish if it is a house cat. I’d be more worried about the direct risk of the cat trying to catch the fish lol.

The cat drinking from the fish tank is a serious problem for a non-obvious reason. Turtles are a pathogen reservoir for Salmonella, which cats can contract. This could be potentially lethal for the cat. Either the cat or turtle needs a new home.
Our cats don’t like to drink water, and the vet said that if they don’t drink enough, they might develop kidney problems. I’ve heard that cats love to drink fish tank water, so I'm feeling a bit hopeful.❤🩹

Definitely agree. The turtle most likely will eventually die because it will go up the extender for air not realizing it’s enclosed.
