One might say he is Oogiddy with delight. To be fair I love the design. The idea of this horrific monster that is actually kind of creepy looking and oozes out toxic goo but who is actually just a really happy fun guy who likes splashing around in sed goo makes it pretty adorable in my opinion.

You wait three days and BAM! the quint breaks out of the synthezier and is ready to join its ethereal pals!

I have a feeling that there will be a new island featuring every single ethereal along with the quint. It makes sense why there’s no quint on this island.
Sadly only 16.5 and not all 17 monsters (including the possibly coming quint and castle) play during the last verse, as teeter-tauter only plays tracks 1 and 2 during the last verse (Teeter only plays on tracks 3 and 4) but I mean it’s just my opinion you can say that Teeter-tauter is 1 monster so as long as 1 track play during the last verse the whole monster counts, I’m fine with it. Edit: I was also thinking that there’s a probability that we won’t get an ethereal quint, as bbb has already left us hanging before like this, like how everyone was SUPER hyped for the first hex ever, but bbb just said that we already have wubbox, which was ‘supposedly’ the hex, probably just because they didn’t think that they were going to make something culminating enough to not only match with how strenuous and tedious for something as perfect as a hex to exist in the game, but also to at least get close to pleasing everyone (or even just the majority) and prevent even more controversy as like now where many people were criticizing bbb for how much mistakes they made on the last 3 islands, Eth workshop, Amber island, Mythical island, a lot more, with lots of people preferring fan predictions over what actually came. It’s This game might become as controversial as Minecraft in a few years. From what I got of why we don’t have a hex, I guess the in lore reason is that it’s just too unstable, what makes you think that a whole ETHEREAL quint would be just stable enough to preform with the other already super tedious to get, very unstable other ethereals. Guess what even more block us from getting a Ehtereal quint, bbb kinda faces a placement issue, as even if something were able to be realistically put in the game, it faces a whole list of other factors, like obtaining, lore, elements, the song itself, and so much more, for example, the pure natural quint, the Mimic, arrived so late, and msm already completed all the linages it could’ve possibly joined, it just didn’t have a place in the lore, elements, obtaining, and even song due to overcrowding. So much that it didn’t even arrive in the main game. Getting a Quint would face the problem that getting it would be EXTREMELY difficult and grindy, as well as making an already intense overcrowding issue. (even if teeter doesn’t play) Edit 2: IK my grammar and paragraph is bad, I just wanted to submit my entire opinion even if it takes forever to read, because I comment stuff like this a lot. Edit 3: another thing I thought about, another thing enforcing the fact that we probably won’t get the Ethereal quint is because it’s more of a “monster stuck in the amber” type thing sure bbb did release a majority of them of them, (Freed thing, kayna, and the amber island monsters) but for the rest of the amber type monsters we didn’t really see what happens if we release them, Especially for the ones in ethereal workshop, even if the synthesizer has something inside it, the obstacles of the island do as well, but not only can we barely see what’s inside them, but we can’t even do anything with them other then get rid of them. What’s the likelihood that they’ll treat the synthesizer the same, this is the part I hate about fanmade predictions and ideas from bbb and msm’s audience, cause if bbb is unable please the majority, deliver, or do something just as good or similar to what everyone expects, everyone’s left disappointed, even if the content they make is by itself pretty cool. I mean it’s their game, sure they’ll try to please their audience, but they can do what they want, they’re the creators.
The “controversy" is people being pretentious, disregarding the entire point of Workshop as a whole over non-existing instrumentals that go against the point of a synthetic and experimental vibe, and yapping over fanmade monsters that either exist alongside already established monsters to amplify the song even more, or just to highlight how good the creative process has become behind fanmade monsters as a need to standout. Also other islands have been criticized and complained about before, only reason you and I hear it a lot now is because the games massively picked up traction and popularity as a whole over the years and become increasingly more popular. Also the Quint’s coming regardless, makes no sense regardless for it not to from both the Poison Quad’s scheduled release coming halfway early, the now 63 days for another wave to come out bringing us to Anniversary month, synthesizer design growing and bio building up its hype since Wave 3, and the new Play-your-Part contest that has been previously done before to unveil new islands or monsters by the end of it.
