- You've seen how sonofretrotvluver executed the audio only of the Labor Day edition of the short-lived but very good Spin-Off. But here's how I do it.
NOTE: Most of the these pictures are not the actual setups. They are simply mockups made up for this video. And as you may have noticed, I've added my own styles for this.
This actually was a combination of Yahtzee and Nicholson-Muir's popular Draw Poker/Concentration game Pay Cards!. It was originally to have been produced at the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City where the pilots had been produced (Nicholson-Muilr was located in New York). However, it was moved to Hollywood to accommodate Jim Lange. A remix of Spin-Off's theme music with a brass top theme added was used on the popular short-lived Canadian-produced Super Pay Cards!
I was little, when that game show was on CBS.
CBS Television Center is also in Los Angeles.

Real art card for Grape Nuts Flakes is somewhere on YT - another show announced by Johnny Jacobs and he flubbed the copy there too! I forgot what show.
And believe it or not, WCBS-TV 2 must have the full run in their vault, so I've been told.
If WCBS channel 2 has the entire series in the vault, how come GSN never aired them? Let's have Buzzr air them so game show fans who were born after 1975 will see it. Its a very fun game.

Only thing, I think the other team's podium (the one on the right) used green signaling lights, not pink...
+Andrew Schroy Your right, but your were thinking of the "how many spins taken" lights. I think all ring-in lights were pink.

This doesn't make any sense. CBS stopped wiping out tapings long before this show even existed. How can there be no episodes of this show in existence.
CBS only stopped erasing tapes if the production companies said something. Look at The $10,000 Pyramid and Give-N-Take, both aired past '72 yet both were wiped almost completely. Bob Stewart didn't change his policy until 1978 (why the later half of $20,000 exists), and Nicholson-Muir never saved tapes to begin with (why Pay Cards was erased too).
They were in storage at WCBS in New York along with the entire run of the original Joker’s Wild. This one was taped off the air by a fan only because it was cleared on a different local station on Labor Day while the regular CBS affiliate was running the Jerry Lewis Telethon.
