    Q no 8, Acute effects are seen within a short period of time, Because if u see Acute Radiation syndrome,(ARS) the symptoms are seen within a few days (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea known as NVD syndrome) that is the first stage of ARS as you know. So i think the ans shoold be option A.

      Radiation response is dependent on dose received , volume irradiated and repeatability of structure . Acute effects are seen within 6 months of exposure, While late effects are seen after 6 months of exposure.

      Acute effects of radiation occur within 6 months of radiation exposure or therapy. These effects arise due to the immediate damage to rapidly dividing cells in tissues such as the skin, mucosa, and bone marrow. Common acute effects include:
      Skin reactions (erythema, desquamation)
      Mucositis (inflammation of mucous membranes)
      Gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea)...

      @@TechMedicalAspects All thse side effects come during RT only. Check the fact with some senior RTTs or oncologists. Otherwise u r doing a great job. Keep it up 🩵

      It is not necessary to discuss this further with an oncologist or senior RT, as this has already been verified through multiple reputable books, which confirm that the correct answer is within 6 months.
      However, you may still cross-check this fact with your institution’s senior RTTs and HOD oncologist for additional assurance.

    Options of Question no 6 💀

    • @TechMedicalAspects
      @TechMedicalAspects  10 дней назад +1

      Both options C (Z) and D (Atomic number) are correct, as they represent the same concept....
      • Z is the symbol for Atomic number, which is the number of protons in an atom.
      • Atomic number is the term used to describe this concept in words.
      If the question explicitly asks for the name, the correct answer is D) Atomic number.
      If it asks for the symbol, the correct answer is C) Z.
      So, for this question, the correct answer is:
      D) Atomic number
