How about Lemon Meringue for your yellows? Meringue is light, fluffy and yummy like a cozy quilt. I'm really enjoying your Joy quilt. So pretty. I like the small stars better than the diamonds.
Your Yellow bonus quilt is going to be so pretty, bright , and cheerful. I like the name Lemon Chiffon …..it sounds kinda fancy. Although, Lemonade is fun and summery. Thank you again for showing how you audition fabric, I am learning a lot when you show this. Hope you have a good weekend and fully get over your cold.
Lemon meringue works well too! Imagine the crust and the toasted color on the meringue with your use of the darker golden yellows. I also like the lemonade name because it makes makes me think of summer. The yellow and white, is light, bright and sunny - summery!🌞🌞🌞
Thanks for the tackle it Tues challenge. Even though I’m watching this on Friday (Just got back from 10 days of camping). I will pull out a quilt that needs to be finished on my mid arm and get it done this weekend. I also hope to start on the Christmas Challenge. So will get those pieces cut and sewn this weekend. WHEW….a lot to do….gotta run now. TTYL
The little tool chest is helpful. I keep it by my stitching chair for quilting or cross stitch accessories. I can work with an open drawer to prevent small items from falling on the floor. Instead of placing item on my table, it goes in the drawer. No more chasing scissors or spools of thread that roll off the table. Love it❤
lemon chiffon gets my vote Glad you're getting your cold is moving on its way out! Yay, thank you Wendy for releasing the finishing layout early! I'll be printing and sewing my pieces together as soon as it's available.
🍋 lemon chiffon It does sound kind of fancy 😊 I’m working on the blue and turquoise Seaglass I cannot take that with you, Pat Now I’m going to try to make a yellow one 😅
Lemon chiffon would be my choice, but regardless yellow is my favourite colour. Christmas quilt top is going to be gorgeous. I’m soon going to start making Wendy’s “ Once in Royal David’s City “ for my sister for Christmas. Thanks for sharing projects. 👍❤️🙂
I love the name Lemon chiffon for your yellow and white quilt! Also love the sweet little square in a square you showed how to make, and how you chose the best placement for fussy cutting the bird to showcase in the square. ❤
I wish I had been watching. I love Wendy’s book and actually do have it! Which is amazing! So I really wish I was watching from the beginning of Joy, joy, joy! I must admit I do love the Ohio stars they are truly stunning. Thanks Pat.❤❤
Banana Bread for the win!!! I love that! My grandparents had a black walnut tree so I grew up with walnuts in everything! Yummy in all sorts of things!!! Thank you for all you do!!
I vote for Lemon Chiffon name the best. I have been keeping a monthly calendar listing things I want to work on for the month and cross stitch is on it every month. I have to do an hour a week which isn't much but it's getting it done. I enjoy your videos and seeing what you're working on.
Pat, I completely understand your dilemma with cross-stitch projects. Mine was punch needle projects. I have a cazillion projects with all the threads sitting idle waiting for my return. They get lost in the shuffle between piecing then longarming quilts. I miss the days of endless energy I used to have. I am 75 now. Maybe someday I will start again. The patterns are so darn cute. Of course, that’s what draws us in. And the threads, the beautiful threads. Oh boy…..
So happy to have the size of pieces for the layout of Christmas All Year Long. I'm loving this sew along. I vote banana bread for the yellow quilt. I love banana bread, too.
My pink mini holds things I need for sewing like my walking foot, seam reaper and snips etc. when not in use. I’m waiting for my second one that’s red for my longarm attachments. While small I like that everything stays dust free and less messy on my tables.
I love banana breas with walnuts. Lemonade reminds me of summer. Picnics and happy times. I vote for Lemonade. You can change it and add. Strawberries or cherries. Family time.
Hi, first off its good to see you feeling better. A summer cold is no fun. I noticed your chair has polka dots on it. How cute! Did you cover it? I like the name Lemonade for your yellow quilt. The Christmas sampler is coming together so nice. Love it. Wish I had started it but not enough time! Hope you have a great day and happy stitching.
I like Banana Bread the best. Lemon Chiffon and Lemonade are usually all the same color of yellow…….bananas not so much…..lots of different colors of yellow, which is your quilt!
Pat did u see what folks r doing with that tool chest, they r painting it black, or red in your case, to match their featherweight machine, and buying some singer and other decals for it. Ha ha it may be a project for Greg to do yours in red and pimp it out in Singer decals.. I am tempted but need to find a tool case as they do not have that store in Canada.
Pat for your 4 cross stitch projects, why not rotate them. Work on one for a week, then switch to another and so forth. Unless, of course you're trying to get one done for a certain season like the Halloween. Love your Flea Market Flowers.
Banana Bread for the win!!! I love the name "Lemon Chiffon", but not for this quilt. That name is too dainty and airy and classy for this quilt. Your quilt is more earthy with pops of darker yellow and has a more craftsy, vintage look that completely suits the name"BANANA BREAD"!

I vote for Lemon Chiffon--sounds light and airy---just like the yellow and white blocks.
Another great video. Thank you Pat for starting my day.

I vote for Lemon Chiffon for your yellow patchwork quilt. 😀
Don't feel bad. I finally finished a project I started 32 years ago!
Lemon Meringue Pie would be cute. It would cover the darker yellows as the crust, and the whites as the Meringue .
Lemon meringue works well too! Imagine the crust and the toasted color on the meringue with your use of the darker golden yellows. I also like the lemonade name because it makes makes me think of summer. The yellow and white, is light, bright and sunny - summery!🌞🌞🌞
Thank you for providing an alternative to the Christmas block!! I wasn’t looking forward to working on tiny pieces.
the little tool chest is adorable, but I don't know what I would use it for,but it is so cute!
Who needs a reason when it's cute!

Excellent!!
Lemon Chiffon sounds light, delicate and feminine. Love it.

Missed offering names… at first I thought it was like white and yellow corn on the cob 😄
I vote for the lemon chiffon

Banana Bread for the win!!! I love that! My grandparents had a black walnut tree so I grew up with walnuts in everything! Yummy in all sorts of things!!! Thank you for all you do!!
Thank you for the alternative block. I made two of the others and was not happy with mine. I was so frustrated. Thank you again.
you are so welcome!
I do like the name lemon chiffon but.... the blocks look like yummy banana bread. I vote banana bread! 🍌
I’m making a 2.5 square leaders and Enders project too. I chose my scrap box full of pink and greens.
Tough decision. Those are such great names. But I’m leaning towards lemon chiffon.
I vote for Lemon Chiffon name the best. I have been keeping a monthly calendar listing things I want to work on for the month and cross stitch is on it every month. I have to do an hour a week which isn't much but it's getting it done. I enjoy your videos and seeing what you're working on.
I think that Lemonade is a lovely name for your yellow quilt.
I love your alternate blocks for the Christmas quilt. Am totally going to copy.
Did you say what size these blocks should be...I don't see it in Wendy's book either.
Oh boy…..
it really is!
I love the name Lemon Chiffon. That is the name that came to my mind before you gave the three choices.
Lemonade is my vote! The one I am making I have named Sunnyside.
Banana Bread since you love banana bread, with walnuts. You probably really love the banana bread at Starbucks....YUM!

Banana bread, yum
Great program, Pat. Christmas all the time! :)
I think lemon chiffon would be great.
I like the Lemon Chiffon!
Banana bread. Because you are using a variety of yellows instead of using just light yellow.
I agree. If it was all lights, Lemon Chiffon would be great, but there is such a variety of darker shades.
Good suggestion. I like lemon chiffon as a name, but like you said, with the dark and light yellow fabrics banana bread works!
Lemon chiffon. Light and luscious!
Banana Bread. Yummy quilt name😊

Good morning from Florence, SC
Hello from Maine!
I finally bought Wendy's book. I was disappointed though because I thought it was a precut book
Daffodil cake ❤
Banana bread please!❤
I like banana bread as a name.
I just got my first mini tool box. If you do get the Kobalt name off it, will you show us or tell us how you do it ?
google how to do it,i have not done it yet
I vote lemon chiffon
Banana Bread for the win!!! I love the name "Lemon Chiffon", but not for this quilt. That name is too dainty and airy and classy for this quilt. Your quilt is more earthy with pops of darker yellow and has a more craftsy, vintage look that completely suits the name"BANANA BREAD"!
Lemon Chiffon would be my choice.
Mellow yellow
