I read these comments and should not have. For over 10 years, this has been one of the most unique and mind blowing songs I know. Each listen only reinforces that. The pairing of 2 virtuosos on their respective instruments (voc, guitar) is perfect. I should know by now that there is someone who dislikes everyone and everything. (I've heard Bruce Dickinson called bombastic and Jn Anderson grating.) Whatever. And to learn that Gregory invented a very special guitar for this only makes it better.

Mark Boals just got better and better since Yngwie Malmsteen' s Trilogy. ! His vocals on this song are just amazing ! As far as I'm concerned, "Maestro" Alex Gregory is just the average neoclassical shredder from the 80's/90's. not impressive but not bad.
Here's my two cents Alex Gregory, granted I feel like I've spent enough time acknowledging this guys presence, he's an kay guitar player, of he was just any other joe, I'd say "Yeah man, way to go, keep writing and you'll get better, keep at it etc...". However if you have ever done any research on his background, it's full of lies and he puts himself at such a high standard it makes me want to criticize rather harshly, and that's not my style. So I suggest of Alex ever reads this, guitar design wise, you have some neat ideas, but your delusion of grandeur has made so much deceit that we don't know if those are your innovations, if you even actually do anything you ever say. So my advice to this aspiring guitarist is get a better attitude, kick your ego in the throat, and wipe everything you ever established and get a balanced head on your shoulders, people will respect and acknowledge a humble and modest person more.

the guitarist and son of a fool is to tune the octaves of his guitar that are totally tune, his vibrato is also ridiculous the only thing that escapes is the taste for baroque music else is poor
