dude you need to seriously chill!, and let the man answer your fuckin questions!...wtf is your problem?
Don’t watch the videos! There is your solution! Problem solved!
We love your videos and the behind-the-scenes access. Interviewing is a skill like anything else, and yours will improve naturally over time. You just need to let the interviewee guide the interview - they're the experts of their own haunts. Looking forward to seeing more videos of this type in the future!
I’m going to do it the same way every time. I came with ZERO written questions, the questions just come to me as we’re moving around their location. I’m not doing an interview I’m having a conversation on camera. BTW let’s not forget in this industry, I’m considered at least I home I’m considered (LOL) an EXPERT on the subject. So a lot of the questions I’m asking I already know the answers, I’m trying to ask questions and spark conversation that other people might want to know. I feel mission accomplished. I really think the information Gene provided is worth 100 PAID seminars at conventions and tradeshows. Gene provides the information for FREE, but remember I’m TRYING to provide information myself. Let me give you an example. When he’s talking about why he’s not charging for parking, most people wouldn’t understand his reason. Why? Because he didn’t explain it clearly, I picked up on that and explained WHY. The reason he doesn’t charge for parking is because he’s overwhelmed as it is with cars, it would slow down the process by 50%, causing a bigger problem. So I picked up on what he meant and explained it. This is the benefit of me doing these videos is because I understand what he’s saying. I have a similar problem at my Creepyworld but we still charge for parking but when the crowds are POURING IN we STOP charging for parking. We have no choice. This is just an example of where I jumped in to explain something. Either way I’m having CONVERSATIONS with these owners which I feel inspires better content. Take it or leave it! I’m doing this for the benefit of the industry not myself!!
no excuse dicwad for not letting the guy answer your questions...yeah your expert alright....
Constructive criticism- just let the guy finish his thought. He was going on things and then you cut him off. Otherwise great video 👍
No one cut off anyone. You’re being absurd. It’s a conversation and btw there are no written questions it’s not an interview. Chill out!
your an annoying fool
I've been going to field of screams for a while now and to see the behind the scenes of all my favorite haunts is so cool
Gene’s brother, Jim, was nice enough to give me a tour and allow me to film for my channel this past Halloween season. Such an incredible haunt! My jaw was on the floor the entire time I was there.
thanks for watching the video its an incredible haunt
Very cool - I've really enjoyed the commentary on this entire video! Keep it up man! Really awesome.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Our next behind the scenes video will be of 13th Gate! Coming soon!
Well done.
The drone footage added a lot to it.
We didn’t do the drone footage it was provided to us. I agree it looks amazing
You do interrupt too much
It’s a conversation and I’m trying to get as much information as I can. Going to do it the same way every single time. I’m trying to get information as it presents itself to help other people in the haunt industry. If you don’t like. It don’t watch!
I makes the video ass let the owner talk @@Hauntworld
This video is awesome and I'd be asking al9t of questions myself. If not the owner could let out alit of information you never knew.
What? With good questions, tips, points ….. you know… substance? lol
@@Hauntworldvalid point!!!
This and the haunted mill were my favorite haunted houses when I lived in Pa.
FOS is the OGs of haunts. Everyone there from the owners and management, down to the actors are incredibly talented. Thank you for allowing us to provide you with awesome FPV drone footage. See you at Transworld!
Great vid, your both savages! Great interview, questions, pulling tips, noticing things we would never. Enjoyed all, ready to pack the car and GO!
Glad you enjoyed
Who are you guys using for video mapping
I remember when Jason's Woods was the major haunt in the area in the mid to late 80s. Until Field of Screams kicked thier butt.
You're in my neck of the woods. Just across the river in York.
Incredible
I agree incredible place!
Be great to hear his full answers to your questions before you cut him off.
its a conversation. I'm trying to get as much information as we can and this video is packed with it. Just enjoy!
demon evil
This is probably your best video yet thanks
I agree it’s only because of Gene and their haunt. Gene provided a lot of information. I was so impressed with Gene’s ability to share this information. Kudo’s to Gene
Stop cutting the guy off, man. No need for it.
Why didn’t you ask him why he doesn’t pay his actors? All haunts could be great if they didn’t have to lay the labor cost. Just sayin
I will answer that question for you in a very fair way. I didn't ask that question because I'm not going down that rabbit hole. Furthermore the actors don't have to perform there its a choice. Clearly they enjoy being part of the staff and its a choice they're making. How can you argue what people are willing to do with their free time? Being honest haunted houses do not make that much money and labor is your biggest expense. By not paying actors it has probably allowed them to keep that place going by buying all the houses around it, improving the overall attractions. With all that being said if all the actors STOPPED working for free then that approach would end right? But they keep coming so they must love being there. So I can't argue. BTW probably 50 to 70% of every single haunt that opened last year had volunteer actors. This isn't new.
What app do you use to edit the videos?
Your always hearing someone say that was 2 hours of my life I can never get back. This was 2 hours of my life that was incredible to see what has been created at this Haunted Attraction !!!
Thanks for watching. We have more haunt tours coming!
I'm hooked on this video. I used to know someone that worked at FOS and she used to tell me some behind the scenes information and she posted some videos in the early days of You Tube.
Dont pay your tickets....smart...illegal...
Are you gonna tour your haunt this year during Transworld
Yes we uploaded a video about it on this channel!
Happy New Year Larry from your old pal the Reaper!
Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed this video, I was very impressed with the honesty and passion that Mr. Schopf showed, not many haunters would be that willing to tell what they paid for things or how they came to own them. I thought you asked some really good questions about things that aren't typically talked about, in particular hayride safety. Field of Screams is truly a distinguished haunted attraction that does the industry proud.
Thanks for watching
I have a 2006 video on my You Tube channel from Field of Screams. Little Screamers Hayride when my kids were little. It will give you a good comparison of how the hayride has evolved since it was filmed in daylight.
Speaking of Carpet Bagger I just watched his FOS Christmas video
Auntie Anne's originated in Lancaster County. So it's the perfect fit for FOS.
They need a giant scarecrow like in Burning man in the middle of that courtyard as a landmark.
Minor suggestion- pan the camera a little slower
Great video!
gotcha thanks for watching
love ur vids dude and ur haunts keep it up bro🙌
I'm late to seeing this but wow! Again, you're like a part of our haunt team with all the relevant and hard to obtain information you share on these videos. Thank you so much Larry!
And P.S. You don't interrupt to much. You're not a passive interviewer. That's why these videos are so great. Ignore the nay sayers. ;)
No problem. I’m trying to get great information for the haunt industry. That is the goal!!!
Awesome
Great vid, your both savages! Best yet interview, questions, pulling tips, noticing things we would never. Enjoyed every second, ready to pack the car and GO!
Thanks for watching!
Excellent video! Loving the wealth of generous info you share. Also Tombstone and Silo X were the first haunted houses I ever visited as kid, so glad I found this channel.
Thanks for watching!!!
Interrupts Gene SO MUCH! It's a cool vid, but I think you should try to be aware of how much you're interrupting people because I'd love to hear some of those answers too!
It’s a conversation not an interview. Also i have to ask questions when they come to me… i have no written questions ahead of time. So the information you got was Gene’s experience and me just thinking of questions on the fly. That is how I roll brother.
@@Hauntworld Fair enough. It just noticed it because it happened a lot. I'm sure doing something like this is far harder to do live than it seems. It's still an awesome video and series.
Everything is good except you could visiblie see scre actors taunting and acting but yet you put your boice over it. Drones dont conduct audio?
The drone footage was just added to the video. It was supplied to me we didn't take any drone footage.
@@Hauntworld ahh ok we regardless upstanding video. If it means anything I wouldn't be able to go 12 feet in one of your houses
