As someone who has absolutely zero and I mean ABSOLUTELY ZERO experience with sorting algorithms or computer engineering or anything related, is there any use for the Cocktail Shaker sort, it just seems slow and impractical.

Anyone have a good guide on how to compile the Sorting Visualizer project that he has linked in the description? It's undocumented and I haven't done much work with c++ so I've been struggling trying to figure it out for a few hours now with no luck :/

Soundwave563 I believe it is mainly used as a slightly more efficient version of bubble sort.
I feel stupid right now trying to do all my sorting programs with the bubble even that my teacher said that's not the most efficent thing to do.
